I LOVE these banana clips.
I love these banana clips. I am in my late 30's my hair is thin in texture, sparse in quantity, is thinning, scalp is temperamental and often sensitive. Thankful to find this incredibly comfortable, stylish and practical solution. It effectively holds my hair back in a secure yet easy going fashion....

Broken within a day
I wanted to try these out despite the mixed reviews thinking that I might be lucky and not end up with broken clips but no such luck. I wore one to work the day I bought these - never tried a banana clip before, I have shoulder length low-medium density 2C/3A curls and it nicely held all of my hair ...

i bought this because i wanted an alternative to a claw clip and saw this on my fyp all the time. It was okay for the first 5 minutes. It doesnt hold my thick hair at all as the clip constantly unlatches. And by the time I do get it to clip on, its already loose after 15 minutes of wearing it. I have to constantly readjust it which gets frustruating. Its literally advertised for thick hair, yet it cant hold thick hair?
If you have truly thick hair, I would not buy this.
I hoped this product would work for me, despite the lack of examples of it being used on coarse, very thick hair in the photos. It's simply not long enough to gather up all my hair nicely. It kept popping open, so zhuzhing my hair around to at least look good was impossible.
My go-to lazy hair day clip
I have long, thick, straight hair and dislike tying it up with elastics because they always create weird texture in my hair and cause headaches. These clips are much gentler on my scalp and hair and have never caused unwanted bumps or waves in my hair after use. Hair also looks much fuller and longer when up compared to traditional elastics and scrunchies because of the form of these clips. These are my holy grail for lazy girl hair days.

These work for me. Read some reviews that mentioned them breaking. I haven't had either one break. I have fine hair and they work great.
