If dark spots/brightening is your concern, layer Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA first. If Dullness/Antioxidant support is your primary concern, we'd reccomend layering Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% first. We suggest applying Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 first, followed by Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%. The product does not go on smoothly, I personally didn't see any benefits after use, and it clumped upon application. I do LOVE The Ordinary, but this one just was not it.
