This 4 step system has worked wonders! Love this!

I received this product in exchange for my honest review and these opinions are completely my own. This bond repair masque is part of a 4 step system that was sent to me by Shea Moisture and not only does this hair masque and the other products in this 4 step system rebuild broken hair bonds, but th...

Could use some improvement

My experience with the Shea Moisture Amla Oil Bond Repair Masque left me feeling both dissatisfied and puzzled. Positioned as a hydration step in my wash day routine, it unfortunately delivered the opposite effect, leaving my hair feeling notably dry. One of the issues I encountered was the thin con...

Fantastic hair mask drop as always from SheaMoisture

I have reallly long multi-textured hair. I went through a bottle of the Amla oil, and loved it so much I decided to pick up the mask jar with my second bottle. I used to be totally addicted to the Jamaican Castor oil line as an affordable hair option. But long hair is super hard to maintain. Im always dealing with breakage and split ends and I don't particularly want to cut off more than I have to. So I started doing the bonding products. Unfortunately they can be crazy expensive, especially when your hair IS so long. When I saw SheaMoisture was doing a bonding line, I had to try it out. I use hair oil pretty religiously, but like to do a mask pack treatment every week or two. It absolutely delivers. Shiny, soft, and even straightens out my hair a bit. It actually makes all of my hair feel uniformly textured, even when it's been in braids for days and my straghtening iron can't even fry the kinks out. It feels really healthy, and is definitely super moisturizing. I'll definitely keep picking these up for the price point to use daily to preserve my more expensive products for the really big jobs or special events.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

this is comparable to olaplex's no.8 — but even better. for those with low porosity hair this was perfect with a heated cap for penetration. i used this mask before blow drying my hair. no tangles, less breakage and a ton of shine. lovd it!
