I'm not sure why I'm seeing so many bad reviews on this product, I'm 99% sure it's due to user error. Yes they can separate if you're just pulling them out all willy nilly...so just don't do that and you'll be fine. I've never once had an issue with them shredding, but I solely use them for applying...

So the first line of this description is already false advertising. "You're fave cotton round - now organic " you can see in the photo, it's thinner, looks rougher and specifically it lacks the sewn edges that prevent it from separating from a single round into a few sheets of pulled apart cotton. ...

Does the job
I don't understand the bad reviews either. Like what are ya'll doing with them? lol. I use them to remove my eye makeup with Cerve's formula and the cotton holds up well after many swipes practically soaked in formula.
My Fault
I should've purchased the larger ones that were squared. Next visit!

Yes they can separate if you're just pulling them out all willy nilly...so just don't do that and you'll be fine. I've never once had an issue with them shredding, but I solely use them for applying my Clinique Clarifying Lotion, so I'm not drenching the cotton round in product. I can't speak to if you're using them for nail polish remover or something.
Terrible Product
These separate when trying to even get them out of the packaging.
Just no!
These organic rounds are not soft on the skin. They are rough and scratchy. Opt for Ulta's regular cotton rounds instead!
