Im sure the sharpener is fine I actually bought it because I needed to sharpen my brow primer pencil unfortunately this is not big enough to fit it which is weird they would make one not to fit their product.

Sometimes I am sent a smaller sample of an eyeliner that needs sharpening so I always keep this on hand to sharpen it up. I don't know if it's the eyeliner itself that doesn't sharpen well or if it's the sharpener that doesn't work but I don't think this product works very well as far as sharpening
