Amazing
I have ALWAYS loved Chi products and flat irons but years ago I switched to titanium flat irons and Chi didnt have any. So when I saw this I HAD to get it. I have relaxed hair and the 380 degree setting is perfect for me! Leaves my hair soft, shiny and lots of volume which I love. I always use with the Chi heat protection spray. The Chi logo is "3D" rather than just pasted on, so it does snatch a little but can be avoided by keeping the logo towards the top when using. I was able to get this during the 21 days of beauty, even though it was sold out online. I walked into the store and got the last one on the shelf.

I bought this September 2025. I have other irons such as the older paul Mitchell ceramic and titanium. Those are great and have not caused me heat damage. I usually dont like titanium plates because they way they distribute heat feels like too much on my hair, but this iron changed that. It's the perfect size to for a silk press and getting at the root AND curls! I have thicker, tightly coiled, African American hair. Some would refer to it as 4b/4c. This creates a great finish and doesnt snag the hair. Now, the products you use beforehand absolutely matter. I just really enjoy the fact that I can use it on 390° and get a very straight press or curls, instead of having to go higher to get similar results with other irons I've tried or used in the past.
Impressive
For the price point this thing is gold! It works well, heats fast, leaves my hair shiny and smooth! I highly recommend! I was going to try a more expensive iron, but I'm glad I didn't!
