Meet Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation, the first 16-hour, fade-resistant foundation that improves skin by the hour and stays true. Skin Recognition Pigments match your skin tone, delivering your most authentic coverage yet, while NARS' Skin Optimizing Complex refines skin from the inside, out. Find your perfect shade of NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation.

Find NARS store locations at Ulta Beauty.

Dispense one pump or a pearl sized amount of Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation and warm with fingertips. A little goes a long way - concentrated pigments ensure only a small amount is needed for full-face application. Too much formula accentuates lines and imperfections. Avoid excess application around eyes or contours of the face. Apply foundation starting at the center of the face and blend out with fingertips. Focus on one area at a time and blend well.

Worst Foundation Ever

By badgaljay

from san francisco

Comments about NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation:

I wanted to get into NARS because of the hype. I watched countless youtube videos raving about this foundation. Seeing as I had the extra cash, I bought it. Boy, was that a mistake. I also got the Nars primer (pore + shine) because I heard that the foundations only pair with the primers. So I applied the primer patting on my skin and the foundation with a beauty blender. First hour, looked nice although my shade Punjab was peach not yellow. But since peach/yellow are very similar it kind of worked. Fiji and the shade after it were too light/ too dark. Second hour, I can see the foundation start to lift from my face and produce this ugly consistency that makes me look like a messed up wax doll. Third hour, an isosceles triangle, the tip starting at the top of my nose and the bottom being my chin formed. In that triangle, my foundation lifted and was a slip n slide. With one finger, my foundation and concealer completely went away. I was embarrassed and shocked. I was walking around like that for four days. My mother was even given me the side eye!!!

My routine:
Primer: NARS pore + shine
Setting spray: Boscia White Charcoal Spray or Cover FX Mattifying
Foundation: NARS Punjab
Concealer: NARS Cafe con Leche creamy radiant
Setting Powder: Laura Mercier Translucent
Then brows, eyes, face, mascara, lips then setting spray again.

I tried to add the benefit porefessional on my nose and chin and the primer everywhere else, different setting sprays (ub, mac, nyx) as well as the powder (tf-peach powder) but none of the combos worked. I tried so hard to prevent the triangle of doomed but each time it happened. So, I'll admit: this foundation is not good for oily hair types or at least for me. Stay far away and get something else like the Too Faced Born This Way (my holy grail).

Didn't expect to love it this much ❤️❤️

Comments about NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation:

Let me just say that this foundation is one of the most full coverage and with the most lightweight feel ever! It is build able but you definitely need to set it w powder, if your looking into something that still looks like skin and really full coverage... this is it! This one and the huda beauty faux filter foundation are my faves!!!!

For Non-full coverage lovers

By Jessiejes

from New York, NY

Comments about NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation:

This foundation was a great shade match (Marquises is mine) and it is pretty long wear. I do have to touch up because my nose is super oily but other than that it stays. My only issue is that you have to pump a lot to get some coverage. This is def for people who like a natural coverage and not full. I won't repurchase.

Not An Oily Girls Best Friend

By Veetac

from Georgia

Comments about NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation:

I bought this because of all of the hype around it but I just don't see the excitement. The closest shade they had for me had me looking orange. On top of that about 2 hrs into me wearing this I was already blotting and A LOT of product was transferred from my face. I prime, set with powder, foundation, powder, setting spray and it still slid off my face. This defiantly is not an oily girls best friend, will be exchanging.

I absolutely love this foundation. I get so many compliments on my skin every time I wear this!!! Buuuuut, it breaks me out :( I did not realize it until after wearing it a lot more so now everytime i wear it (whoch is every other day to give my skin a break) I discover new spots. I never really breakout from foundations but this one makes me. So sad!!

Good natural look

By Vicki

Comments about NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation:

I love this foundation because it looks very natural. There's a trick to this foundation. In order to limit the cakiness at the end of the day, you have to use a thin layer. Be sure to apply with fingers as well.

Comments about NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation:

So here's the deal... I went out on a limb and bought this foundation because everyone (and by everyone I mean the beauty youtubers) was raving about how amazing this foundation is and how it was their new holy grail...blah blah blah. I'm wondering if any of them wore it for more than an hour, because this foundation does not last. I tried it every which way to get it to work... applied it with a beauty blender, with a brush, with my fingertips (the recommended way)... I tried it with a primer, without a primer... I tried it with setting powder and without ... It never failed... I sluffed right off my face and looked splotchy... making me look like I'm some sort of amateur at makeup application. Nars has a great shade range, and I finally felt like I had find a great color to match my strangely light-ish olive winter skin... BUT what good does a good shade range do you if the dang foundation won't stay on your face?! I'll tell you what good - NONE! If it wasn't obvious... I'm going to return this.

It looks amazing on my skin and applies beautifully! I would 100% recommend! It doesn't clog my pores and it's an extremely light formula but it's covers really well!

Comments about NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation:

I absolutely love this foundation. I use the shade Gobi and use 1 pump for my face and it spreads so far. The way it blends is just amazing. I use the Farsali 24k gold underneath and get a beautiful glow. The coverage is very easy to build up. Only con I have is I don't like to set with powder unless I'm going out for an evening but I need to set this under my eye with a loose powder to stop my mascara transferring.

This works great on my oily skin

      By Ann

      from USA

Comments about NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation:

This foundation lasted pretty well on me and I have a oily skin type. I was hesitant at first because I usually stick with matte foundations but I realized some matte foundations are TOO matte and will actually dry your skin out causing it to produce more oil. This foundation is just perfect, not too matte and it's not really dewy either so I can see why dry skin types aren't really liking it. Radiant is a pretty accurate description though. As the day went on I did get a more dewy look, but it didn't look greasy. Also the color is a perfect match to my skin tone, just an all around winner!

      • Q:

Are the Shades the same as the NARS Sheer Glow shades? For instance, if I am in the shade Punjab in other NARS foundations, am I the same shade in this new foundation?
Asked on 1/22/2018 by NARS Addict from San Francisco, CA

        • Brand Expert

          A:

We do have some of the same shades that are available in Sheer Glow, however we have 33 shades in our new Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation vs the 20 in Sheer Glow. We removed some of the existing shades for our new foundation and then added some beautiful new ones to create a new and exciting lineup of colors. If you are Punjab in Sheer Glow I would start there for Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation. Please know that because the formulas are very different it is possible you may be lighter or darker in Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation. My best advice would be to head to your nearest Ulta and have an associate match you!

If I where porcelain in Too Faced Born this Way and fair light neutral in Tarte Rainforest of the Sea what shade would I be? The nearest store to me is 2 hours and I want to try this out so bad :(

          A:

There are lots of light options in our new Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation. It sounds to me like you would be a Mont Blanc in this formula. I would give this shade a try and see how it works!

      • Q:

What primer would be suggested to be used with this foundation? (For normal/bit dry skin)

        • Brand Expert

          A:

Hi there! Since this new foundation has a longwear technology giving you 16 hour wear, you do not necessarily need a primer. However, if you would like a bit of extra radiance and glow you can pair this with the our Radiance Primer SPF 35.

      • Q:

In the Nars Sheer Glow foundation I'm medium 2 Santa Fe. What shade would I be in this foundation?
Asked on 1/15/2018 by Elena from Tampa, FL

        1 answer

        • Brand Expert

          A:

We do have a shade Sante Fe in our new Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation you can try first. However, due to the difference in the formula and coverage from Sheer Glow it is possible you may be a slightly different shade in this foundation. If possible, I would head to your nearest Ulta and have an associate match you for the perfect shade.

If I'm the color "Alaska" in the velvet matte skin tint, what color would be a good fit in this foundation?
Asked on 1/14/2018 by Beth from Los Angeles

        1 answer

        • Brand Expert

          A:

If you are Alaska in Velvet Matte Skin Tint I would try either Gobi or Deauville in our Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation. One of those shades should be a good match. If you are still unsure, try to head to your nearest Ulta to have an associate match you.

          A:

Our new Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation will absolutely work with dry skin and will leave you with a beautiful, radiant complexion. Before applying, make sure your skin is fully prepped with your favorite skincare and moisturizer. This will help to mitigate any dryness you may have as well.

So I use malaga in the tinted moisturizer. What shade would I be in the new foundation. I'm not sure which one to pick I have a yellow undertone and Malaga was still a little warm for me.
Asked on 1/10/2018 by Sisi from Maryland, US

        1 answer

        • Brand Expert

          A:

Malaga is considered MD1 in our Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer. We have a much more extensive shade range in our Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation but I would look to the following shades for a good match: Aruba M6 or Syracuse MD1. For the best match, head to your nearest Ulta and have an associate match you.

What is the equivalent to Siberia in this foundation? Or are there none?
Asked on 1/9/2018 by Gabby from Texas

        1 answer

        • Brand Expert

          A:

In our new Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation I would try Oslo or Mont Blanc if you have previously been Siberia. Oslo has a bit more of pink undertone while Mont Blanc is a little more neutral. For the best match, I would head to your nearest Ulta and have an associate match you.
