Most Helpful Positive Review Best cream eyeshadow in the game I love this! I received it as a Diamond Perk, so TY Ulta, this is amazing. Ok. So let's clear up some of the nonsense going on in some of these reviews. This is a GREAT cream shadow. It's crazy lightweight and easy to blend, even easier to build. Super long lasting. The little glass pot has .19oz of product (even tho the site description says .11oz). For comparison, Nyx Foil cream e/s has .07oz, Tarte Chrome Paint Pots have .11oz., and Mac Pro Paint Pots have .17oz. So for those claiming Lorac has only a small amount of product, pls have all the seats. What it DOES have is a small footprint, so reviewers may be having a knee-jerk reaction to Lorac's responsible and less wasteful packaging over some other brands (looking at you, Tarte). The packaging is glass, and sturdy, and closes nice and tight.
I chose the Velvet shade as my Perks gift, and it's a lovely cool-to-neutral toned medium depth brown. I've been using it on my bottom lash line on top of darker eyeliners, as well as deepening my outer V. It's insanely easy to blend and build, and I had to be careful bc I'm used to other creams that take more work to build evenly or diffuse, and this one does it all so easily and seamlessly, I couldn't believe it. The huge drawback is its 4 month shelf life (per packaging). This little pot has so much product, that it'll be a challenge to use it all up in that time frame. I hope Lorac rethinks this and adds whatever it needs to to the formulation to extend its rec'd shelf life, or puts out smaller amounts of product that can be used up in that time. It's overall the best cream shadow in the game. I've love to see them extend the color range bc it's truly an amazing eyeshadow. < 3
Most Helpful Critical Review Disappointed I normally love LORAC products, I own all the pro palettes. I also know that they haven't been on the radar lately with new releases. However, when I saw they came out with these I was excited to say the least. I ordered all 6! When I opened the jars I first noticied the size of the glass versus the actual product amount. There is very little product in these! Then as I opened the jars I noticed that as soon as I did the product just came out of the jar in a small condensed pellet, not adhering the the sides of the jar at all. I pushed the pellet thats maybe the size of a quarter back in and against the sides. While I did this, I lost product on my fingers. The colors are ok but its really just color with microfine silver glitter in it. The jar says expiry date after 4 months as well. I'm super annoyed that I spent this much on products that've had all these issues. If you can get past all of the above issues, go ahead. I think ill buy some mixing medium solution to try fix the dryness/crumbliness. I'm only giving one star for brand nostalgia and color choice.

I love these shadows. I have Satin and Velvet. They both flatter my hazel colored eyes. They are beautiful for a quick one shade eye look and I find that they last all day. These are my favorite creme shadows. They are gorgeous. I would love to get other colors. The packaging is very pretty and sleek. I apply these with a brush or most of the time I just use my finger.
Love the sparkle, but the color isn't as described 2

I got the color cashmere which is supposed to be platnium, but it's actually gold (as was noted by another reviewer). It looks exactly like what is pictured for satin. I love the sparkle and texture, but didn't want gold. Does anyone know the actual name of the platinum color so I can order it?

I got this as a free item and was surprised how much I loved the product. I normally wear traditional pressed powder pellets but I found that when applied with a brush I could control and blend quite easily. I'm now looking at other colors to buy.

I received this product free as a platinum gift. I have to say, I'm glad I did not pay for this, if I had, I would most likely be returning it. First off, mine arrived cracked and broken in the pot. I was able to kind of smash and mold it back into shape, but not a great first impression. I would not really consider this a "creme" eye shadow, the texture is more powdery and stiff. I chose the shade "Velvet", as I felt it was the most "unique" (how many rose gold/champagne shimmer shades do I already own??) It was not as shimmery as I was hoping, but I think that was because of the dark shade. It applies best with a finger. It doesn't seem to stick to a brush. I experienced a lot of fall out and it is pretty messy and difficult to actually apply this to the eye. It dries down pretty fast so any manipulating or blending needs to be done quickly. I will say, once you actually get this product applied, it stays put, no budging, fading or creasing. I see what they were trying to do with these little pots, kind of one stop shop product, easy to apply quickly and be done, but for me, this just didn't work. I don't see myself reaching for this, as it is a lot of hassle to work with and the end result is nothing to write home about.
Amazing! 5

The shade lace is STUNNING! I apply with my finger and it lasts through my 12 hour work day perfectly. Seriously does not fade at all. The base color is a very subtle rosey shade and then there is a ton of iridescent micro glitter. You can build it up or leave a nice sheer layer. The base is not metallic at all so it does not crease or show aging skin. This stuff is awesome. You can apply super messy and it always looks perfect. Lorax PLEASE advertise this better or something more people need to know about this!!

Very shimmery eye shadow, I got suede brown. I am light medium skin tone and it was a bit dark so it will work for nighttime looks. The eyeshadow goes on smoothly but there is a lot of glitter everywhere. I applied with my fingers and there was glitter on my hands for the rest of the night. Still like the consistency and smoothness.
Great cream formula with very fine glitter! 5

Not Good 2

I bought Cashmere, which is described as platinum. It looks gold to me. An old gold, but gold, not at all silver. Also it arrived and already looked like it was drying out. There is very little color when applied on the lid, just a few gold glitters. Not Good!!!
Luxurious Soft Blendable Crème 4

I haven't tried a whole lot of Lorac products but I do know how great this one is. I picked the soft gold and it didn't disappoint. It is really nice and shimmery and has a wonderful payoff with one swipe of the finger. The look is super smooth whether I apply directly or on top of an eyeshadow and it looks awesome under my bottom lashes as well. I don't see a lot of Lorac products but I would definitely get another color from these Lux Crèmes. Mine has stayed really soft and creamy but I try to make sure I close the lid "extra tight" since I heard others have had theirs dry out.

💗it better than Scattered Light shadows! 5

I love, love these types of eyeshadows and I have had the Dior mono fusion and Chanel Creme shadows in rotation for a long time. Sadly, they discontinued my favorite shade from Dior and I have been on the hunt since. I thought the hourglass scattered light eyeshadows were a good replacement until I tried the Lux Creme shadows. I got the shade Lace from the amazing ulta diamond perk rewards (seriously, the best rewards program!). I would say it isn't a pink champagne but a scintillating true champagne color that is so easy to wear. And I can't help but compare it to the hourglass ones because Lace is EXACTLY like the shade "Reflect" on me. I just don't prefer the hourglass ones because I seem to have more fallout that goes in my eyes as I wear it, tends to migrate on my lids, and doesn't last for long. I pulled a 24 hour shift with the Lorac shadows and I am truly amazed on how long it lasted on my lids. Yes, it lost a bit of the sparkle, but the champagne shade still looked good without using a primer. The product itself is very plush, very moldable, and applies like one of those mousse-silk shadows. It is also so easy to apply with my finger tips, just swipe and go, compared to the hourglass ones, which definitely makes my mornings more efficient. I highly recommend them and I may pick up Velvet in the future!

I love the color and the texture, but mine arrived cracked and fell out of the glass when I opened it. I was able to put it back in and smush it down, but I lost a lot of product doing that.
Glad it was a freebie 3

I just received the shade Velvet as a diamond perk.
I am so glad that I didn't pay for this.
The product upon opening had shrunk and was about the size of a nickel! Not only that, the product only has a 4 month shelf life!
That is totally unacceptable.
This will be going in the garbage.

I got the shade suede and it's a perfect smoky brown with some gold flecks in it. Easy to blend and extremely long wear on my monolid eyes.
Four month shelf life 2

I purchased "Lace" which is described as "Pink Champagne" but it's not pink at all, it's just Champagne. Pretty color nonetheless. It's a bouncy texture, feels and performs just like ColorPop super shock shadows. Arrived broken, but can be pressed back together. For the price there's barely any product. Most shocking is it's listed as having only a 4 month shelf life - which is crazy. Needs more thought put behind this product!
Stunning 4

I just received this as a diamond perk this month and it is absolutely stunning! I took off a star because the one I received was kinda dried out and had shrunk from the sides but I managed to mold it in the container and wasn't so dried out that it couldn't be used...if I had paid for it I would have exchanged it. But aside from that issue the shadow itself is absolutely stunning.

Versatile and buildable!
I've used them as a shadow, topper and cream highlighter. The colors are so welcoming, you will easily find an "everyday" color. Beautiful lasting finish, I'd definitely recommend.

Super impressed with these cream shadows. They blend very well and are super creamy. I wore for 12+ hours and no creasing at all. Also, there was no fall out when I applied. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
Love it! 5

Another amazing product by Lorac. This cream eyeshadow is very light and creamy. It feels like you are dipping your hand in clouds. It is highly pigmented. It lasted on my eyelids all day and it was not difficult to remove when I wanted to. It did not create a mess like other cream eyeshadows. I left the cap off by mistake last night and was expecting to find it dried-out, but surprisingly it has the same cloudy silky texture as the new product. The combination of glitters and base shade is very artistic.
I usually buy one cream eyeshadow at a time, but this eyeshadow has too much product inside. It takes months to use them all. I am going to order more shades. Can't wait to try them.
