Most Helpful Positive Review Very Grippy
These work very well for silky slippery hair. I will say though for anyone with hair shorter than collar bone length the larger of the two sizes is a little bit too big; it'll still give volume but no curl and mine need a little bobby pin reinforcement. (obvioulsy that's at no fault of the rollers just wanted to give a size reference)
Most Helpful Critical Review Terrible Product
I wished I could have loved this but I couldn't get myself to. The rolls wouldn't hold in my hair, needless to say I do have thick hair but even in smaller parts the hair wouldn't stay and it never gave my hair any type of texture or curl. My hair would fall stuck straight, worst than if I did a basic blowout. I love and stand by all DryBar products, but just not this one.

Did not stick well on my long wavy hair. I wound up having to use clips to hold them in place. The ends wound up frizzy from the Velcro and didn't really get much bounce or wave. I'm better off using a round brush as I blow dry.
I didn't think they meant velcro so literally

If you like pulling velcro out of your hair this might be for you, but only if you also have short/thin hair. Horrible feeling to remove the rollers.
Rollers Get The Job Done

The rollers did what they're made to do.. I used them in freshly dried hair and they held my thick hair just fine (I added clips for support, but could do without) However, there is no difference between these and Goody rollers you could grab at your local dollar store. You're buying the name more than the product.
Double win with this!

If you want volume to your blow dry, this is worth the purchase!
Would not buy again, would not recommend

So right off I realized that 6 were not enough for all my hair (not a big deal or their fault) so I went and bought a second box (wishes I would have tried even one in my hair first because I would have used that trip to return a box, not buy one). I have thick naturally curly / easy to frizzy hair. *i used these after blow drying and straightening* The first thing i noticed was that they did not stay put and I had to use a clip to told them in place or else they would unroll about an inch and hang awkwardly. Then when I went to take them out my hair stuck to them so I had to pull them through my hair *which felt like (and looked like) the equivalent to brushing it with a boar bristle brush* and took out most of the curl and left my hair frizzy. So unless you have extremely smooth and straight hair these probably won't work for you (and if you have smooth hair I'm guessing you will definitely have to use clips.
They get the job done!

I agree that they don't necessarily need clips to hold them in place, but I personally used duckbill clips to keep the roller tight against my scalp.
Low quality overpriced rollers
Mara from Cincinnati, Ohio
These rollers sucked. I bought them today and tried them out, they didn't work. I had just washed my hair and put them in when my hair was damp to blowdry them. I spent ages getting them in and when I took them out my hair was straight and frizzy. Some of the rollers caught on each other and tangled and matted my hair. I tried following the tutorial they put out and multiple others but these rollers just don't work. I even tried having my mother do it because she has experience with velcro rollers and she couldn't get them to work. Cheap rollers you get from the drug store work exponentially better, and I'll be returning these as soon as I can.

The largest are my favorite they give you so much volume and the curls hold all day
The best roller out there
Avery from CO
I've used these for the last two years without any issues. I've used them with both long and short hair, and they do what I need them to do, which is give volume since I have very flat and fine hair. I always and only use them on dry hair that has already been blow-dried with mouse, then place them in and let them sit for about 20-30 minutes, take them out and brush my hair. I've tried using them on wet hair and don't recommend it, they are really best for volume and body on hair already dried with styling product (I use a moisturizing mouse). These were a life safer also when I was overseas and didn't have a blow drier for two weeks; I just stuck them in my air-dried hair and let them do their thing. The only and biggest problem I have with these (that I'm taking a star away for), are the small ones are packaged with the large rollers. I wish they sold these as a set of small and large, SEPARATELY, because I had to buy three of these! I refuse to buy any more and refuse to buy any products from this company because of this, but they are still good rollers. I just find this greedy on the part of the company for women who have short hair and can't use the bigger rollers.

I don't know why all these bad reviews are here, probably because people don't know how to use the product. the rollers grip wonderfully in my hair. I can even tilt my head upside down and it will stay just fine. easy and effective purchase.
Just what I was looking for!
Renea G from Birmingham, AL
I love these rollers. I've found if I flat iron a section of hair and then roll a section at a time, they work great for me. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because of the price vs. how many rollers you get. I will have to buy another set.
Won't stay in hair

These rollers won't stay in my hair, even when there is product in it

These are the best ever
Will not stay in my hair.
J from Fl
These rollers will not grip my wet or dry hair & stay. I have to use pins. I purchased 2 sets.
Nice size and good trips for longer hair
Jin from Atlanta, GA
Adds great volume and has good grip for longer hair. My hair is medium length so I had to add some hair clips to make the rollers stay. Otherwise, good product -- just need to buy more than one box since the 6 curlers aren't enough.
Not for fine hair
Hannah from Maryland
I was so excited to purchase these to help set my hair when doing my own blowout, but the velcro like material has too much grip for my fine wavy hair and just caused frizz. Maybe it would work better on a different hair type.
Do not waste your money

This product is awful. They do not grip at all. You are better off buying ones from the drugstore and not wasting your money.
I wouldn't buy again
MsJessieJess from Texas
It doesn't grip in my hair. I have finer wavy hair for reference. I have to use a clip to hold it in. When I do, it works well.
I wouldn't buy it again, but that isn't to say it wouldn't work for you. Try it. Return it if you don't love it.
Heidikins from Norco, CA
Only used once for party hair. Worked great. No tangles. Happy with purchase.
Not Worth It

Don't waste your money on Velcro rollers in general
HuddJ from Lakeland, FL
These are amazing for volume!! I use the large rollers for my crown, and use the smaller rollers for the hair that frames my face. If you expect to have enough rollers for your whole head, order one or two more packs. One pack is great for an every day blowout look. Two or more would give you that "southern comfort" volume.
Made such a difference!
Mama Massey from Norman, OK
Adds volume and movement to my hair when I wear it straight...I got so many compliments on my hair when I used them the first time, and I did absolutely nothing else different.
Thick hair probs from Atlanta, Georgia
Not good for thick hair! I watched a review video online and it seemed to effortless. I was so disappointed when I tried at home. My hair is just way too thick for me to make this work.
Best Rollers Ever

I put two on top of my head for just a little volume while putting on my makeup. Saves so much time blow drying my hair! Definitely a must have!!!

These velco rollers are great but you will probably need more than one package.
