Works, moisturizing, sensorially pleasing

I love this serum. I have horribly dehydrated and dry skin, but I'm also prone to cystic acne when I'm not careful about what I use, as well as frequent smaller breakouts. As far as I can tell, this product is fine for any degree of dry skin, most "normal" skin, and definitely some oily folks out th...ere. It's worth a shot if you're curious. I love the feel of this product. A great serum, works as well for me as other vitamin C products. Heard not everyone feels the same, but hey, all of our faces like different things. As I'm approaching my 30s, my skin is starting to see scarring that lasts a little longer than it used to from breakouts, and this helps my skin clear the scarring and the reddish purple spots that might be post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation now that I'm now well out of my teenage years (very white person mildly-moderately sensitive skin here). As someone with stupidly dehydrated skin, I love using any of my more watery products like toners, and other more hydrating serums first, let it sink a little, then apply this as the last step before I lock it all in with moisturizer, that way I feel like the hydration is taken care of too. It's a very pleasant warm flush to the skin as your apply to your face. I bought it initially because I was intrigued by what Cassandra Bankston kept saying felt like what she thought hot flashes would feel like, so I was mildly terrified the first time I put it on any skin (patch tested my hand) noticed I didn't feel any tingling or burning or degree of warming on the back of my hand, so a few hours later I slathered a dropper full all over my face. It's not what I imagine hot flashes are, but rather like the sun gently hitting your face through a warm window on a hot day. I find it very pleasant, and I don't seem to have any sensitivities to the ingredients in this product. The biggest 2 warnings I have for anyone who doesn't know what to expect already are 1. It DOES definitely give you a slight warm flush, so if you have super sensitive skin, be cautious. It may irritate some people's skin, especially since vitamin C can be irritating on it's own for some people AND 2. It does feel pretty oily when you first put it on. My skin drinks it right up, and after 1-5 minutes of letting it sink in, it's ready for any moisturizer I use, and on my oilier days, such as summertime, I can get away with being lazy and using this serum as a moisturizer. To me, it feels oily when I first put it on, and as it sinks in and dries down, it makes my skin just feel really healthy and soft. I've been able to use it several days in a row without issue, and any time I start getting significant breakouts or any spots that seem like they might scar, I'll go ahead and start using this again. Sometimes I don't even need it and just use it because I love the texture and warm flush. If you're like me, and you hate cold skincare products going on your face, this is a great change of pace. I absolutely LOVE this product, the fun holographic strip is beautiful. Only real concern is if someone does store this in a large amount of light, I don't know how stable the formula is. That being said, I trust the people who formulate and package it more than I trust my internet based understanding of skincare. I'm no expert, just someone who likes listening to others and learning what I can. If you want to try it and nothing here put you off of it, I say go for it! But just try to know what to expect from the start. No absolute miracle turn your skin around in 3 days, but with consistent use it's really lovely and has a silky, highly moisturizing texture.
