Generally, for both our shampoos and conditioners, including the Blondage Color Depositing Purple Conditioner: Unopened Products: When kept sealed and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, an unopened product typically has a shelf life of 30 to 36 months (2.5 to 3 years) from the date of manufacture. The specific manufacturing date or an expiration date can often be found printed on the packaging, sometimes as a batch code. Opened Products (PAO - Period After Opening): Once you've opened a shampoo or conditioner, its shelf life is determined by the "Period After Opening" (PAO) symbol, which looks like an open jar with a number followed by an "M" (e.g., 12M, 24M). This symbol indicates how many months the product remains good to use after it has been opened. For most of our hair care products, including the Blondage line, this is typically 12 months (1 year). After this period, the product's effectiveness, consistency, and even scent can begin to degrade, and in some cases, there's a higher risk of bacterial contamination.
