I normally air-dry my hair overnight, then wake up and flat iron my hair (using heat protectant). How would I use this product? Apply to damp hair, air-dry overnight and flat iron as normal without additional heat protectant.... or is this mousse enough heat protectant for flat irons? Also, can you use it on dry hair? As in, could I apply it to dry hair, let it dry then flat iron? help. Thanks!

This product is primarily applied to damp hair, but you can also apply it to dry hair and let it dry or blow-dry it in. This product offers thermal protection up to 450°F, so a single application is enough. This mousse is heavy and weighs down my hair. I have fine hair and only used a small amount of the product but it still was way too much. I tried several times to use smaller amounts but it just never worked for me

I wanna love this so bad, but I feel like I'm in a snow globe. The hold is lovely, the cast is easy to break, and it feels like it has a good life in the hair, but the flake really does it in for me. I have dark hair too so... there's no hiding it. Not a repeat purchase for me.

I have short, straight, fine hair and unfortunately this Mousse is not for me. I don't feel like it gave me a lot of volume plus my hair felt so dried out by it. I will be returning it.

I am always trying new "volumizers", and mostly disappointed, but this product left me pleasantly surprised, as it gives my hair body, and keeps it actually looking nice for a couple days. My hair is very fine and straight and really needs help in the volume department.

Use very sparingly. Even a medium amount makes it very difficult to run a round brush through my hair. I have pulled out a ton of hair trying to blow-dry with this. While it does add some volume, it also dries out my hair. Very disappointed in the product.
