For St. Tropez's most iconic, natural and healthy looking tan, the newly formulated, lightweight, classic mousse tailors to your individual skin tone, for their longest-lasting tan in one application.

Key Benefits:
  • No self tan smell, with a mood-boosting fragrance
  • Streak-free and easy to apply
  • Quick-drying and non-sticky, with no transfer
  • Ultra-hydrating with even fade
Sophie's Pro Tips: Make sure waxing is completed 24 hours prior to any self-tan application to ensure a perfect even finish. Use a wet cleansing wipe/cloth immediately after self-tan application to prevent unwanted staining on the nails and palms.
Step 1: Exfoliate 24 hours prior to use. Immediately prior to application, moisturize any dry areas including elbows, knees, ankles and feet. Step 2: For best results, apply using St. Tropez's Tan Applicator Mitt in long sweeping motions, starting at the ankles and working your way up. Then for your back, turn the mitt back to front and start applying in the same way. Ensure all areas are covered before lightly gliding any excess tan from the Mitt over your hands and feet. Step 3: Wait until touch dry before getting dressed. Step 4: Allow 4-8 hours before showering to reveal your developed tan. Step 5: To prolong and maintain your tan, moisturize daily, exfoliate regularly and reapply as desired.

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Classic Bronzing Mousse:

I splurged on this product because Karina and Katrina from Tone It Up recommended it and they always look fabulous and "glowy." I did not like that I have to go to sleep with it on or sit around a little sticky for 8+ hours. BUT it was so worth outcome!!! I try to exfoliate leading up to using it, and I read to use a little baby powder to cut the sticky which works great!!! I come out so naturally tan look and it's so even!! So yes, I exfoliate, shave, or wax 24 hours before (shave and exfoliate the day of). Then I put lotion on my feet (tops and bottoms), hands and wrists, knees, and bikini area (all dryer areas). Then I use the tanning mitt to apply. I also use a big makeup brush to apply to my face using MAYBE a half of a pump working it in in circles up into my hair line, ears, behind my ears, and my neck (i use a light lotion on my face before application as well). Then I do my legs and work my way up doing my arms and hands last. I also use the same make up brush to apply to my ankles and feet, wrists and hands to blend up into my arms or legs. When I am finished, I use a wet wipe of sorts to clean each palm/inside of hand gently to clean where I'd not like to have color. I wake up shower off the guide color and glow! :) I'd also recommend the Express tanning mousse too!!

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Classic Bronzing Mousse:

It's more on the expensive side for me, but it's worth the natural and streak-free tan. Just make sure to use a mitt, and apply right after taking a shower and exfoliating. I get several uses with each bottle and my tan fades after about a week. For hands, face, and feet: I use a baby wipe and lightly wipe them about 3 hours after applying so that they're not darker than the rest of my body (since those areas tend to be darker with any self tanner). My tan always comes out even and natural looking.

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Classic Bronzing Mousse:

Even though St. Tropez self tan is a bit pricey, it is worth the money. Its a natural looking bronze color and it dries quicker than any other I've tried, and I've tried a bunch. Not really a con, but you must be careful to get all parts covered well, I missed a spot on my leg and it was very noticeable. I just went back and added some in that spot and it looked fine.

I used to regularly get professional spray tans but once that got too pricey, I found this self tanner and love it just as much if not more than a real spray tan. Before I put it on, I shower, shave and exfoliate. I usually apply the tanner before bed, but I would just suggest keeping it on for 4-6 hours if you don't want your sheets to discolor.

Have to have the mitt. And yes, its more expensive, but I have wasted so much money on ineffective, streaking sunless tanners. I am a redhead and this is the best natural tan sunless product I have encountered. You do have to be thorough with the application. First time I missed a few spots, but was able to repair without too much notice - which would NEVER have happened with other products. Will be using this exclusively going forward.

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Classic Bronzing Mousse:

I was really skeptical of this product but I haven't been out in the sun at all this year and so many people keep asking me how my vacation was since I was so tan! Looks completely natural. I would say though that using a mitt saves your hands but the best results go on with bare hands. Make sure you scrub with a nail scrubber, all your knuckles and palms after application (even after using a mitt). EXCELLENT product, my whole family uses it now. It costs more, but you use less, it lasts for almost a week on your skin (I'm fair skinned) and it's the best natural looking product. Totally worth the extra money

No, oils are not recommended during the mousse application process as they will interfere with the self-tan development. Always used a non-oil-based moisturizer on dry areas like the hands and feet pre-mousse application. Once your self-tan mousse has fully developed (8 hours), moisturizer that contains oil can then be used all over to maintain your glow after showering and bathing.

We recommend exfoliating prior to application rather than post-application. This will ensure smooth and even application. Too much exfoliation after your color develops could cause your tan to fade more quickly.
