Comments about Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask:

I bought this to use it as advertised: as a mask over my 3-step Clinique. I have since ditched most of that protocol to use a Clinique eye cream, a castille soap once or twice a week with the gentle setting of a facial brush, and this moisture mask twice a day every day. It has become my go-to moisturizer. My skin has always been dry, and it's only gotten worse since turning 40. It gets so dry I get acne. This has helped tremendously!

Product has directions that are so small, I had to get a magnifying glass. That's after I searched every paragraph to find English. Then all the directions said was can use every night. Not how much or how to apply or anything. No directions on the container at all.

Hi! You can absolutely use this only in areas that your skin feels dry for an added moisture boost. You would not necessarily need to use it all over, but would work nicely for the cheek area that feels tight and dry. Thank you for your question and have a great week!

I am 65 years old and over the years have developed MILIA on my face, mostly on my cheeks.
I was wondering if Clinique has any particular products that would help clearing up this problem.
I do use the three step program for many years.

Hi. Thank you for reaching out. I am sorry to say that you will need to see a dermatologist to remove Melia. It is a very simple process and can be done quickly. I suggest using all oil free products moving forward. Thank you for your question and have a great week!

My forehead and cheeks get pretty dry and I started using this mask. I use it at night and only put it on those areas. My chin has been breaking out like crazy and even though I don't put this mask on my chin i was wondering if it was related. Could putting the lotion on my cheeks and forehead cause my chin to breat out?

Hi! I am sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with breakout. I understand this can be frustrating. If you are not applying the product in your chin area, the product would not be causing you any trouble in this area. Thank you for your question and have a great week!

                    • Q:

I bought this and love it, but I was curious about the next morning care since it's a mask and doesn't specify in the instructions. The morning after use, do I rinse it off, or do I need to use soap as well? Is using a cleansing wipe sufficient? Or is none necessary, especially when in a time-crunch? Because this feels more like an intense moisturizer that my skin has absorbed rather than a mask that needs to come off.

Hi! Yes, you are correct in saying that it is an intense moisturizer and your skin should absorb it by morning. Our Dr's suggest cleansing your skin twice daily, so cleaning in the morning and night is the best way to take care of your skin, but not for the purpose of removing your moisture mask. Thank you for your question!
