Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid:

I love this brand for sunscreen, but this formula did not work for me. The first time I wore it I was outside on a scavenger hunt for about two hours. Once I started sweating this formula turned white on my skin and when I rubbed my face, I had white flakes everywhere. I exchanged it for another formula and it works a lot better. While I would not recommend this formula, I would recommend this brand.

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid:

I have used this sunscreen daily for years(5+). The last bottle I used was very gritty. This happened once before; I returned the product and the next one was fine. I didn't take time to return this last bottle. When I was about to order more, I saw that many people had complained about grittiness. I decided to try another brand. So disappointed, I hope there will be a return an earlier formula, because I loved this product--no white streaks, absorbed well and no new sun damage...

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid:

I just bought this product last week and used it for the first time today. It was not grainy at all. It was smooth and rubbed in smoothly as well. I have tan skin and it has a slight white cast at first, but that disappears within 30 minutes or so. This is my first impression and I do not have any new clogged pores after wearing i for 6 hours. I wore this on top of my regular moisturizer. I am pleased with this product.

Really good at leaving no white cast and not greasy at all. Just could not get past the fact it did feel like scrub?! I have really light skin, so it would be red by the time I rubbed in all the little grains. I'll try the tinted version.

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid:

I purchased this sunscreen after the previous La Roche-Posay formula I used expired. I really enjoyed the other sunscreen; it applied smoothly and did not turn white on my skin. This formula is the complete opposite. It is very gritty when applying and no matter how lightly I try to apply, it is hard to blend in. Also, if I am outside and sweating this formula flakes up and turns white on my skin. I will have to return this one.

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid:

I've bought this product twice. The first time I LOVED it. It fixed my ultra sensitive skin issues, it rubbed in easy, no whiteness, worked in protecting against the sun. I used it every single day. When I ran out, I bought more. But this new bottle I've stopped using because they changed the formula or something. Now it's gritty and rough and rubbing it stings in makes my skin feel raw afterwards. It also doesn't seem to last as long, it says it's only water resistant 40 mins, and apparently that's true because I got burned, but it use to last much longer with the first bottle I had (never got burned on my face during a day at the pool). Both bottles were a little greasy when first putting on but that goes away. I just can't get over how rough it is now.

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid:

I bought this from a physical Ulta store, and when I put it on, it was very grainy and was slightly painful to rub in because of the grittiness. I will return it because the sample I tested in the store did not have that texture. I would recommend the tinted because it does leave a slight whitish cast.

Oh, how I wanted to love this stuff. Reviews were great. But I think there must be something wrong with my product, or else everyone else leaving reviews is crazy. This stuff is both watery and GRAINY .... I mean, it feels like a scrub when I'm putting it on. It's just PAINFUL trying to rub it in so I can minimize the white cast. Over $30 on a sunscreen that I dread using? No thanks. I've used other mineral sunscreens before, and NONE of them have this bizarre texture.

Hard to give something as unimaginative as sunscreen 5 stars, but this is an amazing staple to have. I haven't tried it on the beach, but this provides the critical protection that my fair skin needs on a day to day basis.

I wanted to love this so much. It has the best finish of any sunscreen I've tried, but the white cast, which is says it doesn't have right on the bottle, made me look sickly. Maybe it's because my skin tone is sort of warm and the white cast was too cool? I absolutely had to wear makeup over it and didn't want to commit to wearing foundation all the time, so I had to return. And unfortunately, because I'm pale, the tinted version didn't work either. Back to Cotz!
