Student perks

1. Login or create an Ulta Beauty Rewards® account

• If you’re creating an online account for the first time, you can opt into Ulta Beauty Rewards® upon signup to unlock the student perks!
• If you’re logged in but not an Ulta Beauty Rewards® member – select Join now or the link and then follow the instructions in My Account.

2. Select Get verified

3. Enter all required information and submit to SheerID for verification.

• Please enter information exactly as it appears on official school records and supporting documents, such as on your school ID or transcript.
• NOTE: The email you provide is the email where your student offer code will be delivered, so be sure it’s an email you have access to. You do not need to use your school email address. In fact, we recommend using the same email you use for your Ulta Beauty account to get your deals all in the same inbox.

4. Check your inbox

• If you are successfully verified, you will receive an email from SheerID to the email address provided in the verification form. If there is currently a student offer* live, the offer code will be included in this email.
• If you aren’t immediately verified, you will receive an email requesting more information. See Why wasn’t I verified right away?
• *NOTE: Student offers are limited-time promotions. While you can verify your student status at any time, you will only receive a coupon code if there is an offer live.

• While each student offer is valid for a limited time, a successful student verification is good for one year. That means you will receive all Ulta Beauty Rewards® student perks for 365 days from the date of your successful verification!

• Ulta Beauty uses SheerID, a trusted partner, to verify that you are a current student. SheerID only collects information that assists in verifying your eligibility. Additional information or documentation may be requested by SheerID in order to complete the verification process. Get help

• Ulta Beauty Rewards® members who are students currently enrolled in high school, college, or post-secondary education at a degree-granting college or university of higher education.

• Your school-issued document must show:
  • School name
  • First and last name, as shown on school records
  • Date showing current enrollment
• Acceptable examples include:
  • School ID card with expiration date
  • Class schedule
  • Tuition receipt
  • Official letters
  • Transcript
  • Registration receipt

• Your verification may not have been successful due to common issues such as using a nickname or a typo when entering information. Please review all your information to ensure it was entered correctly and as shown on your official documents.
• Common issues may include:

• Difference in name as it appears on documents. For example, official documents list the first name as "Jamie”, but "Jay" is submitted on the verification form.
• General typos (Ex. Entered wrong birth year)
• Selecting the wrong school from the dropdown

• Information entered will be used for verification purposes, for Ulta Beauty Rewards® benefits and in accordance with Ulta Beauty’s Privacy Policy. To verify your eligibility, Ulta Beauty partners with SheerID, a nationally recognized eligibility verification service. SheerID will not rent or sell your information.

• Please check your email to make sure your verification was successful. SheerID may require additional documentation to verify your student status.
• Coupon codes will be included in your verification confirmation email only when there is a live student offer available. Please allow up to 1 hour after you successfully verify as a student.
• If you’re having trouble verifying via SheerID, or haven’t received an email, please reach out to SheerID Customer Support via their Help Center.
