Perfect foundation

By Alma

from Phoenix

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro.Matte Foundation:

A lot of these comments talk about pores and breakouts. If you have primer on and setting powder, it truly is the best foundation ever!!!! I had no problems with it getting oily, cakey or coming off and I tested it on a night out to the club. Out of all my girls I had the most compliments on my foundation and they all had higher end foundation. I set mine that night with the wet and wild porcelain powder (scrape off the first layer in order to get good coverage). I have oily skin and break out so fast. No problems here. I love it. If you order online for the first time consider going up a shade. The colors are lighter in person.

I loved it at first but I kept breaking out and couldn't figure out why! After reading other reviews I realized it was this foundation. Sad because the shade was a perfect match and it looked beautiful.

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro.Matte Foundation:

Used this for a week for a foundation review. I can say it is a beautiful matte foundation. I personally have dry to normal skin. I do not set it and it dries to a powder finish however if will transfer if you touch your face a lot. It does have a few concerning ingredients but do your own research. They aren't so bad I'd never put it on my face again but it has perfume in it which is unnecessary. Now that I have the cons out of the way this foundation wore beautifully on me. It warmed to my skin throughout the day and ended up having a super natural finish. My cream and powder products all blended beautifully on top. If using a powder I'd suggest something pressed. Loose powders seem to lift the product. I am not giving it 5 stars because it does settle into my laugh and fine lines.

        Broke Me Out

        By haleyh

        from Arkansas

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro.Matte Foundation:

I'm so sad to say I cannot wear this foundation. I have more normal/Dry skin it looked so smooth on my skin and I got lots of compliments the 3 days I wore it but I keep waking up with a new pimples ever day around my chin/mouth and even on my forehead like little under the skin bumps :( I never break out and I try all kinds of products and never have problems. I want to love this Foundation but I just can't compromise my skin :/

I originally loved this foundation!!! It was so good at controlling my oily skin. It kept me matte for hours!! I wish I could give it 5 stars, but it broke me out so bad!! Wouldn't recommend if you have sensitive skin.

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro.Matte Foundation:

i had this foundation for about 3 weeks and have been wearing it but getting the same result. the foundation has been clinging to every pore and wrinkle on my face. i apparently had little hairs on my nose that i didn't know about until i got this foundation. also very dry looking and very limited shade range.

        No Go For Me

        By Hunny Bunny

        from Los Angeles

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro.Matte Foundation:

Settles into my pores in certain areas making them extremely visible. One layer gives ok coverage expected more. Didn't cover my redness as much as I wanted. Mixed ivory and bisque to get my perfect match since one was too light and the other one was too dark. My skin felt a little irritated might be allergic to one of the ingredients and got a pimple where I normally never do. Will be returning both asap. Really wanted to love this but it was a miss for me.

IF YOU ARE ACNE PRONE DO NOT BOTHER

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro.Matte Foundation:

GUYS. PLEASE HEED THIS WARNING. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS FOUNDATION AT ALL COSTS (if you are combo/oily/ESPECIALLY acne prone!!!) At first I honestly loved this foundation! I used the second to lightest shade, and the colors in the line are just so beautiful. A little tough to blend at times, but that wasn't a challenge for me! BUT THEN, (aka now) about a month into using it and I am breaking out worse than I have in YEARS. Every single time I apply it, I take it off after 4-8 hours and I've got clusters of new little pimples occupying more and more of my face, not to mention MASSIVE cystic pimples as well that seem to keep growing???? I am at my wits end here. Please, if you have sensitive skin, do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this product as you can.

        Cons

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro.Matte Foundation:

This applies nicely but does cause breakouts. This makes me so sad but I can't continue using it. Semi-matte finish, I still get slightly oily when wearing this product but not bad if I'm just going to work.
