Comments about L.A. Girl Pro.Matte Foundation:

I actually really like this foundation at first; it blended well, had decent coverage, hid my pores; however, when I tried to build it up in certain areas, it completely took off the foundation underneath! So disappointed. I wanted this to be an HG drugstore option for me, too.

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro.Matte Foundation:

The product was okay. I bought this in store, hoping it would be my match. I matched it in the store and it was perfect for me; or at least I thought it was. Went home all excited and went to go try it on, first thing I noticed was that it was heavy feeling but was full coverage. Don't get me wrong, I know people who like a heavier foundation but personally I don't like that. The next thing I noticed was that it was VERY ORANGE. Keep in mind that for me, I am a darker skin tone, and usually darker foundations run more orange, but THIS WAS REALLY ORANGE, I'd definitely say that if buying it in store didn't work for matching my shade, what good will it do to a future customer buying it online. Not to bash L.A. Girl, but if they could just tone down the intensity of the undertones, and wasn't so orange I would have loved it. But just to ensure future customers aren't wasting their money which they could have earned and worked hard for, and didn't waste their time buying and waiting for this product. For anyone who wants to try it, DON'T.

    I do like it.

    By Johnny

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro.Matte Foundation:

For me, it does stay pretty matte most of the day. My skin is very oily. Unlike some people with 'oil slick by the the end of the day' skin who claim matte setting sprays work wonders, my skin is actually VERY oily where those don't do the job. I can do a full face and set my entire face with enough powder to rebury dinosaur bones with and an hour later oil is breaking though. But this foundation really does keep me matte better than other matte products. Although I ordered the shade beige it came in and I thought it was ivory or something. I thought because it's a frosted bottle it must be playing tricks. It pumped out pretty light BUT it does oxidize and becomes my perfect shade which is weird. I applied anyways because I feel like I can make anything work. And it was too light at first but it deepened. Soooooo be aware of that. Hasn't broken me out or given me any issues.

    Excellent foundation

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro.Matte Foundation:

I have to say this foundation holds its own. It can play with some of the high end brands. You have to use a good primer that is not mattifying at all. A silicone or moisturizing primer goes well with this foundation. This foundation is also good to mix with other satin and natural finish foundations. It lasts a long day by itself with a great primer.

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro.Matte Foundation:

When I bought this I honestly didn't have high expectations based on it only having 3 stars. I found out about this foundation from youtube beauty blogger Casey Holmes who loves this foundation. With the price being so affordable, what did I have to lose? Well I ended up loving this foundation. I would say I have combo skin and I do have some larger pores which some foundations can make to look like craters. This foundation really sits nicely on my skin and doesn't emphasize my pores. I would say with a thin layer it is light/medium coverage but builds up really nicely. I have bought other pricier foundation that are $35 and over and this one is my favorite even over those ones.

I used L.A girl primer with this foundation, I got it in medium beige shade. This L.A. girl foundation really matched my skin color instead of what I usually buy which is L'Oréal pro matte foundation shade 105. It's 4 stars because omg FLASHBACK. Went to amusement park and saw my picture of myself with flash and oh no I looked completely WHITE it didn't match my skin color when used with flash.

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro.Matte Foundation:

I purchased this about a week ago and now use it as my everyday foundation. I normally wear maybelline fit me matte or the born this way . But girl this foundation is matte and still leaves me skin silky throughout the day I do have combination skin so remember to moisturize well in your dry zones and you'll be fine. It gives a great amount of coverage as well definitely recommend :)
