Great for detangling wet hair, but not thick, coarse, curly

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Got the Frost Purple brush to try for myself, but also for my daughters who seem to have a love, hate relationship with brushes and combs in their curly hair. Initially I opted in for this specific brush because it was listed for wet hair, a...ll hair types, and detangling. I thought it would be perfect for use during bath time with tangle management while shampooing and conditioning and then after. I was surprised when the brush arrived that the packaging was unclear - specifically if the brush was to be used to dry wet hair or for use on dry hair. In my confusion, I ended up looking up the item online and got more answers as to the benefits and uses of this brush than the package had provided. In summary, this brush IS to be used on wet hair for easier detangling. The head of the brush is specifically designed in its shape and size for venting and flexibility in order to move and bend to every possible angle and help dry hair faster with less pain, split ends, and breakage. It has an "EasyGrip" handle with finger rests and rubber for comfort and control and the bristles are "HeatFlex" so you can use it with a hairdryer as well. What I found with use was it was exactly what I hoped for my daughters' shorter thinner curly hair when detangling during bath time and after. However, for my longer, thicker, curly hair it is almost too flexible and I had a hard time getting the brush and bristles to stay on my scalp and pull and detangle my hair without bending the brush to the point I was worried I would snap off the handle.
