Matte Lover Turned Glow Girl
As someone with combination, mostly oily skin, I've always been a matte makeup girl. Mattifying primers, loose powders, all of it. I would add a highlighter to the cheek/nose tip, but that's about it. I've tried glowy primers and setting sprays before, but they would just make me look greasy, so I didn't think a glowy setting spray would work for me… until the Iconic London Prep-Set-Glow proved me wrong in the best way. I picked it up during a 50% off sale just to test it out, and after two months of use, I'm obsessed. My makeup still has the longevity and oil control I need, but now my skin looks healthy and softly glowy, never greasy and definitely not glittery. I've gotten so many compliments and "What's different about your makeup?" questions that I ended up buying a second bottle before I ran out of the first. For reference, my base routine includes Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm (Universal), Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation, Juvia's Place or Dior Forever Skin concealer, and Laura Mercier loose and brightening powders. With this spray on top, everything melts together flawlessly. (Note: I also use the L'Oréal setting spray, red can, as a sealant to help everything stay intact all day) If you're an oily-skin girly who wants a nice glow without the greasy shine, this setting spray might be your new favorite. It's definitely mine.
Unfortunately a big miss for me
As a big fan of I Iconic London products, I was surprised by how much I dislike this spray. It took me a few days to realize that it was this, and not my skincare, making my face feel sticky all day. It leaves a layer on the skin that is perceptible. The mister on the bottle is more of a jet stream than a nice even mist, and it's way too wet looking/ doesn't dry down to a flattering finish. I started to use is as a "prep" step instead and when I powder over it, which is a must, it loses any sort of radiance it may have otherwise had. It also causes my concealer to move around under my eyes in an unflattering way. I had high hopes for this setting spray but sadly it is a huge bust for me.
A Failure
Product dried out my skin & it didn't provide a glow. Plus Ulta online makes it difficult to return items.
Great product but…
I love the formula but the packaging needs work. There is a learning curve to this sprayer. If I don't have ot angled roght I get too much in one area and it gets into my eyes while I wait for it to dry. Other than that it works well to melt my makeup together. And I do not feel greasy once dry.

I am not the type to wear whole face makeup only on special occasions. I just fill in brows, conceal my eyes, a little mascara, and a lip tint. Spray this setting, Spray and I'm ready! It makes my face look healthy it glows. I first received this Spray in the diamond member gift bag but I'm hooked. I wasn't surprised they sold out. No need to look elsewhere, it just goes with me. I had to order 3, just in case. Try it!
