Excellent for Volume and Big Loose Curls

I think this is one of the best Conair hot roller sets on the market. If, like me, you prefer larger rollers and often don't use the medium and small rollers included in other sets, then this is the hairsetter for you! All the rollers are 1 1/2 inches in diameter so the result is lots of volume and... smooth, loose curls. The rollers heat up fast and are gentle enough on my hair to use every day (something I avoid doing with my high-heat curling iron). The set also contains 12 plastic and 12 metal clips which is a huge plus--I use both types depending on where I place the rollers in my hair. I think that many of the negative reviews here are because people don't understand that this set is not for creating tight curls. In fact, if your hair is shoulder length or shorter, you probably will not get any curls at all; rather, you'll get a large C or S shaped wave (like you would with a blowdryer and a round brush). You also have to let the rollers cool completely and use product in your hair (frizz control serum, gel/mousse, and hairspray) if you want the curls to hold. My hair is about two inches below my shoulders, very wavy, layered, and tends to curl easily. This set smoothes out my waves and give my hair body and shape. Love it and highly recommend!
