The Redken website states this is sulfate free. However when this question was previously asked on this forum the answer was No it is not sulfate free.

Is this shampoo good for oily hair? I have oily roots that get oily in 2-3 days from wash day and dry, brittle ends. Would this shampoo work for my hair type and reduce my wash days and help with my brittle ends? If not, what redken shampoo is reccomended? Thank you!

Perfect for fine/thin hair
I have fine/thin hair, and this product was recommended for my specific hair type. I used this conditioner for the first time today and noticed an immediate difference in quality between it and what I had been using previously. Not only is it lightweight, but I also really love the floral scent and the fact that it does a good job moisturizing my hair. As for other reviewers complaining about it drying out their scalp, this is a professional grade conditioner. It is only meant to be applied to your mids and ends (after wringing out excess water from your hair to prevent dilution of the product), not on the scalp. You should never put conditioner on your scalp unless you are using a product that was made for that specific purpose. If your hair is still dry after using it, then you have either not applied enough or this product isn't meant for your specific hair type.

Wanted to love but not best for tangle-prone hair
I love the shampoo for this. I wanted to try the conditioner for maximum volume and i also really like the scent. But like other reviews, it makes my ends a little more brittle and tangly than other conditioners. Even when I style it with products, it still felt tangly. For context I have straight hair, oily scalp, but tangle prone hair so ideally looking for lightweight products.
I would buy again when on sale

I was not a fan of the smell and my husband certainly isn't either. It's a very strong floral scent that's just not pleasant. After using it a few times, it started making my scalp very dry and flaky. It did give volume but not worth the rest.
