I just turned 48 in November and have had natural, (caucasian, hip length ,med thick per sq" hair), most of my life & used this shampoo since I was a kid. It works 4 me; I use the Conditioning Balm. .. 2x/wk.

This is my new favorite shampoo! I have fine thin hair that gets weighed down easily and is super straight and flat. I've tried a ton of shampoos and this one actually delivers on its claims. It's a creamier shampoo but it cleanses very well and lathers well. the scent isn't my favorite . I don't know how to describe it other than it kind of reminds me of hand soaps that they have in restrooms. It leaves my hair feeling smooth and soft. I noticed my hair is less knotted and easier to brush. It feels light and gives me some noticeable volume.

I havent been using this very long but my hair already feels so much softer and doesnt get as greasy as with other shampoos ive used and has added a little bit of volume so far. Definitely less frizzy as well
