Brush isn't good
I dont care for this tubing mascara. The bristles on the brush are too spread out. I feel like because of this, the product isnt distributed evenly on my lashes. It feels a little heavy and clumpy on my lashes. It also leaves a little bit of raccoon-eyes when I take it off. I'm glad I only spent $5 or $6 to try to it. I won't buy it again.
Meh, not for me.
In my experience, L.A Girl seems to have either hit or miss products. This one is an unfortunate miss. I have average length, decently curled, but blonde eyelashes. I love a dramatic lash, and I don't mind a little clumping, but this was like spider leg levels of clump. Very difficult to separate lashes with the brush (which was very hard and comb-like). It got all over my hooded lids even after using a mascara guard because the formula is very watery and it took FOREVER to dry. It felt like what I imagine trying to use black paint as mascara would be like. Wet, clumpy, and on top of that, it also didn't tube at all. Quite a bummer.
Where is she?
I was so excited to use this purple mascara because the color online is beautiful but when i used it there was no color to be found. For reference, i have black naturally long lashes so colorful mascara sometimes is unimpressive. There is no volume or length and no color so it got tossed.

I would say the performance reflected the low price point. Compared to many of the other brands, the blue was also less electric. For the effect I was going for, I needed a bold pop in color that this brand lacked. ***Full disclosure: I have Asian lashes that are very straight and don't hold a curl well. To curl my lashes, I have to heat my lash curler, use a light coat, and find that most mascaras don't work. My daily product is Telescopic Original Waterproof Mascara. Even after curling, my lashes will start to lose their curl under certain conditions, like humidity.
