- Q
I've been happily and successfully using this MH Vitamin C Serum on my sensitive, combination skin for awhile now. Which MH products should I add and how should I use them together for more anti-aging and anti-sagging benefits on my maturing skin? TIA
- Asked by MenopauseMama
- Official Answer By Mad HippieWe love the Corrective Peptide Serum and Face Cream for their visibly firming benefits—they’re a beautiful duo for supporting smoother, more resilient-looking skin. The Super A Serum is also a great addition to your evening routine to help encourage skin renewal overnight. As always, if you have sensitive skin, we recommend patch-testing before introducing a new product. Suggested Routines: Morning: Cleanse → Vitamin C Serum → Corrective Peptide Serum → Face Cream Night: Cleanse → Super A Serum → Face CreamWas this answer helpful to you

In what order should this go in my routine? After cleansing I usually have a toner, other serums, eye creams and moisturizer
- Asked by LipstickLiz
- Official Answer By Mad HippieOur Vitamin C Serum was designed to layer seamlessly with other products in your skincare routine. Start with freshly cleansed skin, then follow with toner, our Vitamin C Serum, any additional serums, eye cream, and moisturizer to lock in radiance and hydration. For best results, reserve exfoliating serums for your evening routine. Was this answer helpful to you

This was delivered early and froze solid. I ket it defrost but it's cloudy, is it still usable?
- Asked by Mary
- Official Answer By Mad HippieYes! Once thawed to room temperature, the Vitamin C Serum maintains its full efficacy, thanks to a formulation built with stable, skin-loving ingredients. A cloudy appearance is perfectly normal and comes from the concentrated plant extracts that enhance the serum’s performance. Was this answer helpful to you

Can this be used with a collagen serum that also recommends it be applied first? If so, how to do it.
- Asked by Joejoe
- Official Answer By Mad HippieAfter cleansing, gently pat skin dry and massage 2–4 drops of our Vitamin C Serum into the skin. Allow it to fully absorb, then follow with your collagen serum to help seal in benefits. You can also alternate between the two, or enjoy our Vitamin C Serum in the morning and your collagen serum in the evening to support healthy, glowing skin around the clock. Was this answer helpful to you

Love this product and this brand!
I'm so excited to see that Ulta is carrying Mad Hippie! I have tried every product from this brand (with the exception of their SPF) and the vitamin c serum is the stand out product for me. I am very particular about good clean ingredients in my skin care and this brand definitely delivers. I have b...

Nowhere near as effective as L-Ascorbic Acid serums for me
I hate to say it since I love many of the Mad Hippie products (especially the eye cream, cream cleanser and antioxidant face oil), but this Vitamin C serum wasn't a win for me. I wanted to give this one a try because traditional L-Ascorbic acid C serums do cause some irritation on my sensitive skin....

I wanted to work!!
I this to hopefully even skin tone, however this made me break out badly. Inflamed acne. Whitheads and pustles. It was painful to touch and wash. My skin was completely clear prior to and is not sensitive to most products. I also did nothing differently other tha add this so i know this was the problem. I hate it bc i thought ot felt nice and refreshing. I had none of the piling issues like most have complained about but I made sure to let it dry down before doing any further steps.
Didn't work for me
Used for a month and a half and it made my skin dry and caused pilling. Dries on sticky in a few seconds.
My Go-To Facial Skin Care
I've been using this MH Vitamin C serum for years now. Every time I try something else for the 'latest' in skin care, I return to using this to calm, moisturize, and clear my skin. This product is great for my sensitive, combination skin. Non-sticky, easily absorbed, and NO strong smell. Love it!!
ultimate skin protection
Great stuff goes on smoothly for ultimate skin protection !!
Love it
I've used other vitamin c serums. This one isn't as sticky once dry and I love that it is a clean formula
