Wearing gloves, massage a small amount into wet hair. Lather, rinse and repeat. Depending on your hair color and type, use 2-4 times per month (approximately every 3rd wash), or as you notice brassiness. If you feel that you used too much, or left it on too long, a purifying shampoo will help remove excess purple pigment, sparing you from rocking unwanted lavender locks. This product is highly pigmented. Do not use at vanity or counter tops. After applying, rinse hair and shower surfaces thoroughly and quickly to avoid any staining.
Precautions: This product is highly pigmented. Use only with gloves. Do not use at vanity or counter tops. After applying, rinse hair and shower surfaces thoroughly and quickly to avoid any staining. Read all instructions on this product before use.

No Joke!
I have used this L'ange purple shampoo many times. The first time I made the mistake of leaving it on my hair for 3 minutes. Well, of course, my hair was lavender when it dried. So I washed it out with a clarifying shampoo. The next time I used this shampoo I rinsed it out immediately after lath...

Intense Violet Shampoo disappointment
This product is too intense. I didn't want my hair to look purple. I've had graying hair since high school and then white hair for the past 30 years. I have used products to keep the yellowing out of my hair, but over the past couple of years due to probably poor diet and stress while attending to m...

Best purple shampoo I've found in 30 years!
I'm not sure why Ulta isn't letting me add a photo, but when I tell you that my hair is snowy crystal perfect white, like Daenerys Targaryen, please trust me - I have the most extraordinary hair color, and it's mostly thanks to the shampoo. I get my hair bleached and toned every 4 months, and while I'm naturally a blonde, it's nowhere near white - I look like an alien from another planet (in a good way lol) and the only thing that maintains that crystal cool blonde is the shampoo. I've tried every purple shampoo on the market - I'm not exaggerating. I've been bleaching my hair since 1998, and this is the best by far. does it suds up a lot? no. I usually use a tiny bit of moisturizing shampoo bar to kind of set the stage, almost like a primer, and then I add this purple shampoo and let it sit for a couple minutes. the results are extraordinary - stunning and otherworldly. will it stain your hands and tub if you let it sit too long? yes! cuz it's actually purple. please never discontinue this product! it's really the best of the best.
Not a fan
I've used several different brands as I like to change up my products. This was unlike the others but not in a good way. Like other reviews said, it was super runny. It made it so hard to try and lather up in my hands and apply to my hair. It also stained my hands worse than other brands. The bottle also leaked in a weird way. I never found any cracks. It leaked from around rim of the lid. I had to keep in sitting inside a cup in my shower because it was staining my white marble.

Hair Type Straight Hair
This is very thin shampoo, not what I am used to from other brands. If you are a vigorous scalp massager you will have this all over the shower. It does rinse off ok, but I was shocked at how it it flew - ceiling now has lavender spots because I didn't look up LOL. I also find it very drying so you need a good conditioner or mask with it.
Yes!!!!!
Very pigmented. Don't need to leave un for long. Works wonders!
Violet Purple Toning shampoo
Hair has a purple tint after rinsing and drying. Shampoo is a thin liquid like water. Does not suds-up!
