I tried the Iconic London 'Velvet Smooth Pore Refining Primer' after receiving it for free, and it's been quite effective for my sensitive and sweaty face. The primer really lives up to its name, making my skin feel smooth and well-prepped for makeup. I use it right after applying my moisturizer and sunscreen, and it works well under both foundation and BB cream. Despite (heavy) sweating through the day, this primer helps keep my makeup in place better than many others I've tried. It manages to keep my makeup fresh for about 14 hours, with only some slight wearing off on the edges, which is normal for me. The primer doesn't seem to have any noticeable scent, which is great because I'm sensitive to fragrances. It didn't irritate my skin at all, fitting seamlessly into my skincare routine. Overall, I'm impressed with this primer and would definitely consider buying it. It's a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable product that helps makeup last longer and feel smoother on the skin.

This really does feel velvety! Texture is so soft and smooth. I haven't used a ton of other primers to compare it to, but my makeup stayed all night while at a wedding in Mexico. Doesn't break out my face or make my makeup crease at all. Will most likely be buying this again!

Now when they say "velvet smooth" they were not joking! The texture of this is almost cloud-like, gliding on with no effort. After application, goodbye pores! Thus product creates a buttery smooth canvas for your makeup, keeping your makeup look looking brand new all day long! Applying a second layer to oiler areas dulls any shine to those areas. I would not recommend if you already have dry skin.

I liked this primer and its blurry features. I do feel like it made my skin a bit greasy feeling, but I have oily skin in general. I think this would be a better fit for someone with dryer/mature skin. It did wear nice under my foundation, but I do better with gel sticky primers for my oily skin.
