Clogged pores when layered

for my very dry skin it's more moisturizing than my day cream and soaks in fully. I was hoping to use as eye moisture but it's not enough for that. It is great for face, neck and décolleté. Not sure yet if it's worth the expense and large plastic jar vs just adding face oil. It did give me some spots when layered over my day cream so I can only use it over water-based serum and toner.

It's nice but not life-changing. It does leave that smooth primer feeling without the 'cones so that's great but I'm looking for a ceramide rich night moisturizer and this isn't rich enough for that.
Oily girlies beware
Oily girlies beware - I would not recommend using this under makeup as the description states! The heaviness of the product + oiliness does not create a great combo. I'm constantly on the lookout for products that help my makeup stay in place and can withstand the oil, but sadly this was not it. I think this is a GREAT night time product - face was well moisturized in the morning after using overnight and the product didnt just disintegrate into my pillow/sheets. Would also potentially recommend this for a winter moisturizer for the oily gals.
Good, but different texture than normal moisturizer

I like this cream and typically use it as a moisturizer/last step. I use Aklief (retinoid) which usually makes my skin dry, but this seems to work well at combating that. It does have more of a sticky, thicker feeling that seems to leave a layer that lingers on my skin instead of immediately absorbing in. However, I've been able to get used to it pretty quick and I usually don't have dry, flaky patches at the end of the day so it seems like that layer helps to keep the moisture in.
