I would say it is on par with other "commercial" colognes from designer brands, but I wouldn't call it a unique perfume by any means. This would not be a good gift for the discerning perfume enthusiast because none of the scent notes individually stand out. But if you need a gift for someone more basic, this is a good candidate for a blind buy. It's very inoffensive if you just need a generic cologne scent. Note that this is not a unisex fragrance.
