Decent for Taming, But Not for Filling

The Uni-Brow Polishing Wax is a solid choice if you're looking to tame and manage shorter brow hairs. It does a great job of keeping brows in place, and the brush makes it easy to evenly distribute the wax while brushing the hairs into shape. One of the best parts is that the wax is forgivingâ€"it wipes off easily if you make a mistake or go outside your brow lines. However, if you have longer brow hairs, this might not hold them as well as you'd like. And if you're hoping to fill in sparse areas, this probably isn't the product for youâ€"the wax isn't pigmented enough to define or fill your brows noticeably. It's more of a grooming product than a shaping or enhancing one. Great for light control and polish, but falls short for fuller brow needs.

A quick fix for on the go

This is revolutionary. I've never used or seen anything like this. I've tried the brow waxes, the brow mascaras etc. But this is such a great thing for women who are on the go, don't have so much time to do their brows as it takes a whole lot of time to. I'm not saying it lays down the brows like a brow wax would. Or maybe because my brows are super curly and the wax isn't strong enough to hold it down. But it does what it says it does. It elevates the brows. It still looks like your brows. Just better. I swipe it through 2 or 3 times and brush it and that's it. Literally takes seconds and your brows look better than when you had nothing. Sometimes I forget to do anything on my face and rush out. Before getting out the car I just quickly swipe through and boom! They look presentable. I always have it in my purse for ease of use and touch up anytime I think I'm looking homeless. Lol. Girl! I was really excited about the UNIâ€"BROW POLISHING WAX FROM WINKY LUX. This product unfortunately did not work for me and I'm going to tell you why. I am a victim of 90s over tweezing brows. We all know what I'm talking about. That time your mother decided she was going to help you get your brows done without taking you to a salon because in fact it was cheaper. So my eyebrows never really got back to full and thick that they were from childhood. With this being said, after trying the polishing wax from Winky Lux, I wasn't really satisfied. I love the concept of having a wax mixed with a color and the brush is phenomenal. I often when I fill in my brows I use a wax and powder combo. I normally use a very thin little brush to replicate lines of hair. With this concept, it did not work for me in the way that it was supposed to or the way it was meant to. But I do think if I were to use a small little brush and take some of the wax/powder stick to draw little hairs, It might work better. I am going to give this product another couple tries as well. Thank you for helping me try a new product and I really love the brush.

I've been using the new Winky Lux Uni-Brow Polishing Wax and I'm genuinely impressed! First impression I thought it could possibly be too light for me, since my eyebrow hairs are closer to black. However, it gives my brows a clean, polished look without feeling stiff or sticky. The shade is truly universal! The formula is super lightweight but has great hold, perfect for taming my unruly hairs and keeping everything in place all day especially since I am growing out my brows and doing my best to leave them alone. I have noticeable sparse areas, and when I fill them in with a regular brow pencil, it quickly looks overdone and too bold. I love that it enhances the natural shape of my brows without looking over filled or flaky. Bonus points for the sleek packaging and the fact that it's cruelty-free. Definitely a new staple in my everyday routine!
