These nail files are okay, but they don't last long at all. I got maybe a couple uses out of it before it lost its grit. In general though, it's not coarse enough for my nails. These nail files are okay, but they don't last long at all. I got maybe a couple uses out of it before it lost its grit. In general though, it's not coarse enough for my nails. My nails are pretty strong, but I wanted to try filing them with a grit that's safer for natural nails. This one says it's 180 but it just isn't coarse enough to shape my nails. I have to use a coarser file from the drugstore that doesn't list the grit, and both the "medium" and "fine" sides of that file are coarser than this one. So it was a miss for me.

A decent nail file for weak nails. I wouldn't recommend using this on acrylics because this one was made for natural nails and doesnt have a strong grit.
