Q
Would this brush work for applying self-tanner to my hands and feet for even application?
Asked by MH
Official Answer By Real Techniques - Brand Engage
The Real Techniques Ultra Plush Powder Face & Cheek Makeup Brush is designed for applying powders, bronzers, and setting powders. Its large, domed shape and plush bristles help create a smooth, even finish. While it's primarily intended for makeup. You might want to consider using a brush specifically designed for self-tanner instead to ensure the best results. These brushes often have denser bristles and are shaped to help blend the product seamlessly into the skin. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Okay so I am a brand new to the makeup community and I was wondering is it okay if I use the same brush for bronzer and powder? I noticed they are both so similar. Fluffy, Huge and Soft.

Hi! We are so glad you're here! This powder brush is brush is much larger than our Blush or Bronzer brushes. We would recommend using separate brushes for setting powder and bronzer. Unless you are cleaning your brushes between each use, switching back and forth could result in leftover bronzer spreading on your skin where you don't want it when you switch back to using a setting powder. Have you looked into our kits? If you are a beginner, try our Everyday Essentials Kit (Item 2534700). The kit includes a foundation brush, our Miracle Complexion sponge, a small setting brush, an eye crease brush, and our blush brush (which is big and fluffy and could also be used for setting powder!) This would have everything you need to get started! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Would this brush work for applying the Physician's Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer? Or is there a different brush you recommend for that?
Asked by Makeup Novice
Official Answer By Real Techniques - Brand Engage
Hi! This brush would be perfect for applying pressed bronzer! You could also try the Real Techniques Blush Brush which could double as a bronzer brush (Ulta item # 2230002)Was this answer helpful to you

Q
I want to set my face with the laura mercier setting powder, specifically my under eyes. Would this brush be good for that or would the real techniques setting brush be better?
Asked by Makeup lover
Official Answer By Real Techniques - Brand Engage
Hi there - great question! I would definitely recommend the Setting Brush for this because it has a smaller head, which is better for the delicate and small surface area you're working with around your eyes. Thanks! Was this answer helpful to you

Real Techniques has clearly cut quality costs

I've had my trusty set of Real Techniques brushes for about four years and recently went to finally replace them. I bought this brush first as my old powder brush is (just now) beginning to become a bit rough and scratchy. HOWEVER, I received this and tried it out only to find that it's significantl...

I'm so happy that I have a new set of beautiful brushes that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I'm definitely a real techniques' girly. I love this big fluffy brush to brush off the loose powder from setting/baking my makeup and last minute blending touches to my complexion. Other brushes I've seen from competitors look very cheaply made and these look and feel EXPENSIVE. You feel like a real baddie bustin' out one of these to beauifully apply and touch-up your makeup. This brush is a MUST-HAVE in your makeup bag! Gotta go and buy all the other brushes now… :)

Good brush

I've been using this brush exclusively for bronzer for several months now and I love it. I like a light diffuse bronzer look and this brush achieves that with very little blending. As other reviews have stated this brush is different from its previous version.

Bought this to replace a well cared for Bare Minerals brush which I used for years. Went to Ulta intending to repurchase a Bare Minerals brush but after checking out IT Brushes and Real Techniques brushes I landed on this RT brush for my powder foundation. And I LOVE it! I actually like it better than my Bare Minerals one I had for years. I love the big fat, slightly longer handle and large dome shaped head (which is not the BM brush type I had been using). This brush readily picks up my Bare Minerals foundation and the end result of my application with this thing seems more of an airbrushed, softer look then my previous brush's application. Also love the synthetic bristles more than I thought I would....very soft and not as prone to coming loose. And all for a fraction of the price I planned to pay for a Bare Minerals brush!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
