How is this product clean if it contains parabens?

- Official Answer By Kiehl's - BEHi there! Thank you for reaching out about the Ultimate Strength Hand Salve. Parabens are a group of ingredients commonly used to preserve the lifespan of a product. We at Kiehl’s know that customer preferences have changed and are well aware of growing concern around Parabens or other ingredients that could be considered sensitizing for some. As a result, in the mid-2000s, we made the choice to develop all new formulas without parabens and as of the end of 2019, Kiehl’s entire range of formulas is paraben-free. In each reformulation, parabens were replaced with another efficacious preservative system the specifics of which vary based on each formula composition. We may use derivatives of animal origin such as honey, beeswax, lanolin, and fish or egg derivatives. From Bath and Body Works to The Body Shop, Eucerin, Aquaphor, Neutrogena, Lush, Aveeno, Lubriderm, Palmer's, Curel, Burt's Bees, L'Occitane, Cetaphil, etc. They were all either way too greasy or did absolutely nothing. The best. Stays on skin like a protective glove. I also use on my feet and ankles. Works fast for smooth soft skin. Took years to find this, and during winters my hands can be prone to eczema. Not anymore.

Waste of money
I bought this while on sale for my winter dry hands. The lotion is okay, not amazing, but the tube is ridiculius! It is so hard, it does not squeeze well. Normally when product is hard to squeeze out, you can take the lid off, not with this product. I threw it away with about a third of the product still left.
