Work in 1-2'' (2.5-5 cm) cleanly parted, brushed sections. TO STRAIGHTEN: Hold iron horizontally. Clamp hair at the root and slowly pull through to the ends, slightly beveling toward the face to prevent static. TO CURL: Hold iron vertically. Clamp hair midway through the section, then twist the iron away from your face 180 degrees and pull forward through to the ends. The slower you pull, the greater the curl. For waves, pull through more quickly.

Awesome Straightening Iron
I have really textured hair (curly, wavy, crimpy) and it's always hard to get completely straight. I loved this product. Heated up in seconds and only needed to go through each chunk of hair once to get it straight. This product was gifted.

This product was gifted from Drybar, and I love it! My hair is definitely straight in less strokes than other brands' straightening tools. It pairs well with the heat protectant spray/lotion and other Drybar products.
Doesn't Last!!!
For the price of this flat iron, one of the plates will not heat up on one side. I had it for 6 months!! it took me a while to figure out why my hair wasn't straightening and then I decided to feel the plates. One side ice cold.

I got this straightening iron after having used my Hot Tools iron for over 20 years, which finally broke. It's light weight and I love that it has a long cord plus an adjustable digital temperature. Because the buttons are inside the paddles, I don't have to worry about accidentally turning it off or changing the temperature while I'm working with it. I can set the temperature at a lower setting for my daughter's fine hair but also raise it for my thicker hair. I highly recommend it.
