I would definitely give this a try for dry scalp

I noticed I had dry itchy scalp. I went to my local Ulta. The associate was super helpful and showed me the nioxin brand and the Paul Mitchell tea tree line to treat dry itchy scalp. Head and shoulders works, however it straps my hair of moisture, and I get really bad static in my hair from it. ...

Good shampoo, but my scalp didn't like it

I overall would recommend this shampoo UNLESS you have a history of sensitive skin. Maybe get a sample or travel size before committing to a larger container. Originally, I bought the shampoo/conditioner at my local salon but bought it a second time from Ulta because it was a few dollars cheaper. I ...

Love this Paul Mitchell TeaTree Color safe shampoo!

I have a head full of bright and shiny mahogany red hair that does not fade out until 6 weeks after I color it, normally. This Tea Tree Color safe shampoo keeps my hair beautiful and shiny until the next color. Love the fresh and invigorating herbal minty scent. If your color fades, maybe you use a different brand. The salon reds I used to get always faded too soon. I started doing my own with a very famous retail store brand and it does not fade with this shampoo. I also wash my hair 6 days a week due to the styling products and hair spray I use. Most salon colors are semi permanent . Mine covers gray hair, so that may make a difference as well for those complaining about color fade.

Paul Mitchell is a fantastic brand. Been using the tea tree color protect shampoo and conditioner for years! Not only does it help my red hair color last and stay vibrant, the tea tree helps with my occasional itchy scalp be it in winter or from too much sweating in summer. Highly recommend this product line!

Never buy this!

I've been using this shampoo for a long time and used to love it, but something has definitely changed recently. The consistency is now very watery, and it doesn't feel like it's cleaning my hair properly anymore. It used to have a refreshing, invigorating feel, but now it just feels diluted and ineffective. Really disappointed, especially since this was my go-to for color-treated hair.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
