FAQs
What does Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating and Brightening Daily Toner do for the skin?
The Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating and Brightening Daily Toner is an exfoliating toner designed to gently remove dead skin cells, promoting the appearance of a brighter and more even skin tone. This formulation also helps improve skin texture, reducing the appearance of fine lines.
How often should I use this toner?
The Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating and Brightening Daily Toner can be used once daily, ideally in your nighttime routine. However, if you are new to chemical exfoliants or direct acids, it’s recommended that you start with 2-3 times a week and gradually increase the frequency as your skin builds tolerance.
Can I use it with other acids or retinoids?
Do not use the Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution with other direct acids (like salicylic acid) or strong retinoids in the same routine, as this can increase the risk of irritation. Instead, alternate use or use one set of formulations in the AM and the other in the PM.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
This exfoliating toner may not be suitable for sensitive or compromised skin. Patch testing is recommended.
Does it increase sun sensitivity?
The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating and Brightening Daily Toner contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight and put you at risk of sunburn. It is strongly recommended to use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, or limit sun exposure while using this toner.

Not a bad product, my skin just didn't care for it
Product came with 2 options to apply them with: a squirtle or a regular top lid thingy. I chose the squirtle and I'd spritz it on a bottom pad and swept across my face. It would sting me. I thought my skin was just not used to it. This was one of the first products I purchased when I got into skinca...

So good. It is already lightening my armpits. Will become a staple buy. It not too harsh. It has more of a slippery feel and it's definitely not too harsh on the skin daily.

Off to a great start
Just started using this product a week ago. Already seeing results. I use it all over to treat my KP and layer Prequel's urea lotion over it. I wake up with smooth and soft skin.
