Wet brush hairs or sponge, then liberally spray on Brush & Sponge Cleanser. Work cleanser in with your fingers. Rinse until water runs clear. Gently squeeze out excess water and then blot with paper towel. Lay on a flat surface to air dry.

I have no clue why this product has 4 stars. I can only assume that either ulta bumps up the #s on its own brand, or people haven't tried literally ANYTHING else to clean their brushes. travel makeup cleaner
perfect for travel
Takes FOREVER to rinse out!
First of all, I bought this by accident thinking it was the quick "wipe and go" type of cleaner. Boy was I wrong. Not only is it the type that has to be rinsed, but it has to be rinsed 5-6 times longer than anything I've ever used. I will rinse a brush for at least a minute and I still have to go back and rinse it like that five or six more times to get all this soap out. Even with one tiny spray. It's insane. It does clean my brushes well, but it's so frustrating to use because it takes forever to rinse out.
Requires a lot & smells awful
Works well on beauty sponges after getting them wet just spray this on. However it takes A LOT of spray to clean/rinse the makeup out of the sponge. Also it smells sooooo awful. Makes me cough like a cleaning product. If they could work on whatever chemical smell this is - I'd buy it again. Not sure it should be on my makeup applicators then on my face it's that bad.
