Gross/greasy residue

This used to be my go-to heat protectant. Smelled amazing, kept hair healthy from all the heat I used to put on it. But they must have changed the formula in the last couple of years. This product now leaves a gross/greasy build-up on my hair after blow drying and styling with other tools. I don't use any other products and haven't changed my shampoo/conditioner. This only difference was I buying a new bottle of this. After reading more reviews, I am clearly not the only one who has noticed this. I will definitely not be purchasing this again,
Bad heat protectant
This product is absolutely horrible. I use this product protect my hair so I can straighten it with my flat iron but it literally fried my hair. I don't put heat on my hair very often when I try to wash my hair my curls did not revert back just from flat iron once

This left my hair feeling like I put hairspray in it. I did not over apply because I didnt want it to feel sticky and hard yet with minimal spray it left it feeling awful, I had to put way too many pumps of oil in my hair to try and soften it and it could only help so much, I ended up just washing my hair because I couldnt stand the feeling.

This stuff is terrible. It literally does the opposite of protect my hair from heat. I have very thick, fairly healthy hair and after applying this product to dry hair and running my flat iron over my hair, the ends literally fried. This product leaves a sticky, waxy residue. My flat iron is at 375 degrees, I have tried it on wet and dry hair. Do not recommend. I gave it a chance and I fear I have passed the return period. What a waste of money.
