    Gorgeous product

I received the color Celestial Light. First let me say the packaging is gorgeous. The metallic lidded jar is a generous size, and contains 1 ounce of powder, but a little goes a long way. The inner top has a typical square holes shaker, which has a protective plastic sticker over it. When you swatch...

    Not a setting powder!!

I had very high expectations for this setting powder. I'm a huge Laura Mercier fan, and I associate the brand with quality products that perform. This particular Light Catcher setting powder (I tried the one in "Celestial Light") is just soooooo bad for a setting powder. It has so much shimmer in i...

Everything I've ever wanted in a powder!

I've tried countless setting powders, and the only ones that work for me are the laura mercier ultra blur, and original translucent. I LOVE a super glowy luminous finish, so I'm usually bummed that I need to use powder in the first place, but I like to make sure everything is set in place. This powder is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Everything I've been looking for in a setting powder. It's extremely glowy and a little bit sparkly, however it's important to mention that a little goes a LONGGGGG way and you need to blend it out. I love dramatic makeup and anything sparkly or glittery, so this is right up my alley. If you're looking for something less shimmery and more of a natural luminous look, try hourglass. But this powder is amazing. It doesn't settle into fine lines or exaggerate pores or imperfections. I have very pale, dry skin and this does not alter the color of my foundation nor does it accentuate dry patches. It's perfect. Thank you for creating this product!!! My new holy grail :)

This is a product that must be used a certain way. Tap a small amount into the lid, use the largest, fluffiest makeup brush you own, swirl into the cap to pick up all the product, then tap brush vigorously. Then sweep brush over forehead and on cheeks first, then the rest of your face. Then buff like crazy! I'm talking wax on/wax off buffing. Once you think you buffed enough, buff again. I promise, you will not look like Edward Cullen, or a disco ball. You will have the most beautiful glow. This is an amazing product.

This is a highlighter, not an all-over setting powder. There is just no way ya'll. I have tried applying it wvery way to sunday and I still look like I have the skin of a killer bella. Its just not great. I wish I would've returned it instead of being in denial.

Wanted to love it, but it is wayyyy too shiny, It looks like you put highlighter all over and settles into your pores. I'd neverrrr use this as a setting powder unfortunately. will keep it for highlight.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

    BEST UNDER EYE SETTING POWDER

This is exactly what women with fine line under eyes need. The glow and luminosity of this powder defuses the lines so much ! It's beautiful to feel confident again. No flat matte setting powder that can do that. I use it lightly on my under eyes with a fluffy brush and build up slowly. On my lids I pat it in very good because i have a big crease that annoys me with makeup. This powder looks like a light eyeshadow. Take advice from a 50 year old and give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Just make sure to get the correct shade foe your skin. Im light/meduim light ( celestial works for me) but i also bought the medium shade as a glowing bronzer for summer days.
