HOW TO APPLY:
Dispense Tinted Moisturizer on the back of your hand and use it as a palette.
Picking up a small amount from back of the hand, apply with fingers, smoothing over face in a downward motion to ensure facial hairs lay flat.
Laura recommends starting at the outer portion of the face and working inwards toward the nose, avoiding excess application around the contours of the face.
Pat on additional product to build coverage where needed.
Laura's finishing touch, inspired by a Parisian facial technique, is to smooth the remaining product under the jawline, neck, and chin.
PRO TIPS:
To build more coverage, pick up product on the back of hand using a foundation brush and work Tinted Moisturizer into the bristles on a clean area on back of the hand. Stipple onto any areas that need additional coverage.
If a fuller coverage is desired, mix a few drops of foundation into Tinted Moisturizer to get more pigment.

I've been using this foundation for a couple weeks now. I really like that it's matte but not overly matte to where it makes me look dry. My skin has changed so much in my 30s it's hard finding foundation that works. My skin never looked dry. I do use a light moisturizer and primer before I apply. And I liked using my fingers to apply and then a blending brush. I loved the coverage as well. It was enough to blend in my uneven skin tone but look like my skin. One picture is at the end of my workday about 9 hrs after application and other picture is applied to half the face in the mornin.

I was excited to try the Tinted Moisturizer Blurred Matte in 2N after loving the idea of a lightweight, skin-perfecting formula. Unfortunately, the blurring agents in this product actually settled into my fine lines and made them more noticeable throughout the day; the opposite of what I was hoping for. The shade 2N is a great match for my skin tone, and the coverage is buildable, but the matte finish feels a little drying by midday. I'd recommend this more for younger skin types or those without fine lines.

Unfortunately the shade I got (2N Maple) was not right for my skin color. Although it's meant for a neutral undertones, I do feel that it leans very warm and orange. The formula is nice though. It blends very well and even though it's a matte formula, it didn't look cakey when it dried. I like the squeeze bottle since I feel it is hygienic and it is possible to use the full bottle without much waste. Overall, I like that it has SPF 30 and that it doesn't feel heavy or greasy while still having good coverage. I would like to try it if I could find a shade that matches me better.
