I live in hot and humid Houston texas and I can confirm this new formula does not work at all. My hair is current frizzy with flyaways all over for the first time in 20 years. They need to advertise that this is a new formula. I actually compared the ingredients and I taught chemistry for a long time, the first compound has been changed and the compound it was replaced with does not have the same chemical properties at all.They replaced cyclotetrasiloxane with isododecane, so they removed the silicon and replaced it with the a hydrocrabon. The cycclotetrasiloxane provides a silky and smooth feel and texture while the isododecane is drier and has a matte finish. So no more silky texture and no more shine literally. Never buying it again after 29 years of loyal use. It no longer creates the silicon coat around hair, the new formula is thicker and does not add shine. I tested them side by side as well and the new one is thicker and not as slippery and it oddly heated up in my hand. THEY HAVE RUINED THE FORMULA.

Super Skinny Serum also speeds up dry time. This product does provide a shiny, frizz free result.
