Shake the bottle well. Squeeze the dropper and dispense half of a pipette into palms.
Smooth onto clean skin with your fingers for light coverage, or buff in with the Complexion Brush (sold separately) for medium coverage. To help guide SPF application, your shade will appear lighter before adjusting to its true tone in 60 seconds.
If your skin is very dry, layer The Base Face Milk (sold separately), Barrier Build Skin Protectant Cream (sold separately), or your favorite moisturizer underneath for an extra boost of hydration. To control shine for 12 hours, finish with Soft Focus Finishing Powder (sold separately).
This formula has no added fragrance, so you may notice the natural scent of the ingredients. The scent fades after application.

Patchy
I bought this specifically for the beach/vacation/on the go. I wanted something on the go that was hydrating and light after a beach day, as an example. I used this twice on separate occasions. Both times it was grainy, did not blend well and dried on very patchy although the makeup claims to have built in moisturizer. For context and transparency I am 44 years old, I am very conscious about skin care and hydration. I always moisturize ( I have it on the go as well) before any type of of makeup. But it did not feel moisturizing, rather it felt like a weird a film on my face. I really like the brand, not crazy about this product, which makes it that much more disappointing.

Great color selections
This is my 2nd bottle of this Ilia skin tint. I went to Ulta to match my color again, and their choices gave me a lot of options. I love the light coverage and the way it feels on my sensitive skin -- no itching or breakouts. I'm 66 I don't notice any of the foundation making my wrinkles look more pronounced either. So I highly recommend this product!

As a natural makeup wearing girly, i love this skin tint! I am now on my second bottle, and it is exactly what it saids. Not too much coverage but great tint! Love
The Skye Shade Ilia Serum Skin Tint
Beautiful shade but a touch too light. It felt like a serum, sunscreen, and also like a foundation..Felt good and protective! Shade Skye was a touch too light but it seemed to self-adjust to my tone and shade pretty well. I warmed it with my usual bronzer! It also dried down for me without using setting powder or spray, which was nice!
