Olay Super Serum 5-in-1 Renewing Face Serum

This serum is great. Niacinimide is a daily must for my skincare routine. When I ran out of the one I had been using, I needed to find something else to try. I kept passing this by, but it stayed in my mind as something I want to try. I finally bought the sample size. I wanted to try it because it has Niacinimide, along with vitamin c, peptides, and AHAs? It sounded great. I rarely use vitamin c, not because I don't like it, but because most vitamin c products I have are stand alone and I usually use them alone to avoid reactions with other products I use - so having vitamin c in this sounded nice because I do like the benefits. Only thing I'm a little iffy about is I know how sensitive vitamin c is as a product and I see the full size bottle comes in a dropper which means the serum is exposed to the air everytime you open it - as opposed to the sample which is a pump bottle and always stays shut. I think for vitamin c, the pump is better for it to stay effective (however I'm not a skincare expert and could be wrong. I don't know the science here, I just remember what I was told). In any case, I've been using this serum for a couple weeks now and I do love it. I am prone to a lot of redness on my cheeks, around my nostrils, and the sides of my face near my ears. If I use good skincare products, that redness will fade once I'm done applying all my skincare and it has time to dry down. That's exactly what happens when I use this. I washed my face yesterday, wore no makeup, went to bed without washing my face again - and I woke up with 0 redness. That's a big deal for me because that doesn't always happen. It depends on the products I use. I love waking up and feeling so good about how my face looks. If a product can do that for me, I'll buy it forever. I'm not implying it's all thanks to the super serum - I use other products that are amazing and helpful too. My skincare goes like this: A good AHA/BHA toner, a moisturizing serum, Olay super serum, a good moisturizer (that also has niacinimide), and eye cream. My skin loves this combo. I read someone say this product has too much stuff in it and it was making their skin dry and red - this is exactly what happened to me years ago when I started experimenting with skincare. I didn't know what I was doing and I was doing way too much on my "virgin" skin. It took a long time to repair my moisture barrier, and after that, I slowly worked up to using all of these ingredients - retinols, bakuchiols, peptides, vitamin c's, niacinimides, etc etc. I can pretty much use anything on my face at this point and it's rare to have a reaction. So my advice is, maybe this isn't for you if you haven't been using skincare like this regularly. And maybe you can give this a chance after trying some of these ingredients on their own before using them all at once. It's called "super serum" for a reason :) I'm rarely loyal to one specific product, but Olay super serum is something I will buy again - even if it's not on sale, even though it didn't come in a beauty box - and that's a big deal for me lol

OMG! Before, I was just a regular CeraVe daily moisturizer girl and back in those days, I used to have to use multiple applications because my skin would just keep absorbing it! With this moisturizer, I put it on once, and my skin is so smooth!

I was going to have the Kybella treatment done but thought I would try this first. Honestly my jawline is more defined and I'm so happily surprised!! It's not perfect but it's WAY better than it was before. I started using this about two months ago. Very satisfied!!

I've been using this cream for seven nights now, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the results. The texture is light and fluffy, making it very easy to apply, and a little really does go a long way. I didn't notice any fragrance, which is a plus for me since I prefer fragrance-free skincare. What impressed me the most is that it feels just as effective as some of the pricier brands I've used before. My skin had been feeling congested, and this product seems to be helping with that — I've noticed clearer pores and an overall improvement in my skin's texture. It feels smoother and looks healthier than it did a week ago. Interestingly, I picked this up last minute while on vacation because I forgot to pack my usual retinol product. I hadn't used retinol for about a month, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but this has been a pleasant surprise! It's definitely earned a spot in my routine, and I'll keep using it to see how the results progress over time.
