How To Use

How to Sugar:

  1. Play - Remove the Doh from the jar and get comfortable with the taffy-like goop.
  2. Mold - Use your fingers, Reusable Applicator, or Cloth Strips to mold the paste into your skin.
  3. Flick - Quickly but gently flick the Doh in the direction of hair growth to gently remove the hair from the root. Repeat using the same piece of Doh until you are fuzz free.

How long should Doh results last? Naturally, hair growth cycles vary from person to person, but here is a general rule of thumb for different areas:

Underarms: 2-3 weeks

Legs/arms: 3 weeks

Face: 1-2 weeks

When finished with the jar, soak the jar and lid in water for 30 min and toss them into a recycling bin or wash and repurpose.

When You Learn It, IT IS AMAZING!

I wont get it 5 stars because this is NOT for beginners. You have to understand your follicle direction, the temperature of your body and room, and have the wrist and grip movement to pull the hair out. I have extremely deep roots and coarse straight and curly hairs with no self waxing experience pr...

I wanted to love this...

I really wanted to love this. It just stuck to me in all the wrong ways... I got it working for a couple minutes after messing with it for an hour, but then it quickly became too soft and I couldn't get it off of my nails, from in between my fingers, and off the palms of my hands. It got to a point ...

Perfection

I have been using sugar wax for over a decade now. Never went back to shaving. This is an ancient method of hair removal that has survived the test of time. I have tried many brands and even made my own at home. This is by far my favorite. I love the consistency of this product and quality. I use a wooden wax stick to get the product out and knead it/warm it up by stretching it out and folding it back in on itself several times. Once it goes from clear to a more opaque color, I know its ready. It does take a little skill but the tutorials are helpful. I've also had many professional sugar jobs done so i am very familiar with the process which helps. Overall the product works great. I am able to remove all my hair and stay smooth for weeks. I keep a bowl of warm water and a damp cloth on hand and can easily clean up any messes. My only complaint is i wish they still sold it in stores because the large one is always sold out online.

sugar vs wax ?

I've waxed myself several times before trying sugaring. there's a learning curve but overall good product. comes off way easier than any wax I've used. yay natural! A complaint is the jar shape and size. you can't fit the card tool in the jar to scoop and I feel like its hard to use the jar to empty. time consuming but if you buy the right firmness for your hair type works perfect

bring back parissa

I was using parissa brand sugaring kit for legs. ulta no longer carrying it so I tried this. heated a very little ler other reviewers as it was too stiff to review at room temp. after it cooled it was still too sticky and difficult to work with and had poor efficiency compared to the parissa kit with strips. I'll be returning.

This is your sign to GET IT!!

If you are looking for a sign this is it. GET IT. At first, I did not know how to work it but after reading a very helpful review here I understood how to work it. You do have to understand your follicle direction, the temperature of your body and room, and have the wrist and grip movement to pull the hair out. The review i read recommended warming this jar up for 5 second intervals for 10 seconds max which was accurate . I learnt that the hard way when I did 30secs and burnt by fingers plus ,well. Let's not get into it. After the 5-10 sec . Let it sit while you set up a fan that can point in the direction of the body part you're sugaring and make a comfortable seat. This give the sugar time to spread its heat and become easier to pull from the jar. I am never struggling again . This is exactly what I needed. Easy , leaves me smooth and at the comfort of my bathroom!!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

The negative reviews are surprising I started using Sugardoh in 2021. Starting off just waxing my legs- to this day I have very little hair that grows on my legs. I started waxing my armpits about 2 years ago - not much hair grows back and I wax once a month. Just tried my own brazilian wax a couple of weeks ago and I was nervous but was very pleased with the results. It definitely takes patience and lots of practice finding the technique that works best for you. There are planty of videos, kits, instructions available to help along the way. I personally prefer the firm paste and I do put it in the microwave at 5 sec intervals until it reaches a consistency that I can remove from the jar with a butter knife (a tip I found on the Sugardoh website) If you are new to using sugar wax I recommend watching the tutorials as they are very helpful. The results are amazing and it's also a money saver!
