The reason I recommend it as a day time and not an overnight treatment is because it coats the lips it doesn't sink in and you also have to reapply often, it's not a thick treatment. The minty tingle is exactly What I want when I think of minty... refreshing. The balm is thicker than your daily on the go chapstick but not so thick that I feel like I've got a layer of goo on me to go out. This balm hydrates very well. I love the feel of the metal tube. I will say I feel like I ran through it quite quickly. My biggest con is that if I throw it in my pocket it gets melty and large amounts come off when applying.. This is an excellent balm but unfortunately will be an at home only product.

It will always be close by! This lip therapy relieves my lips in the harshest weather and it lasts so long I use it a few times a day!

Not as minty in flavor as I had been anticipating. It has more of a waxy/chemical hint of taste to it. It definitely does hydrate, though, which is why I am opting to keep it. I would recommend one of the flavored balms like watermelon if you want a hint of flavor.
