The colour was good and that's about it.

Ill start with good and lead onto bad. I suppose with tan, colour is everything and it definitely does go dark! I find one coat of Bali body is the same as two or three from other brands I've tried. It dries pretty quick too. Smells fine too. However these were the slight problems I had with it. It ...can become streaky (even though it says otherwise). Wearing it in the evening and washing off before bed was how I found I got the best result with NO streaks. When I wore it to bed I found in the morning it didn't look as seamless. Any dry patches it will stick to like glue. I exfoliate and moisturise often and always before tanning and I found the tan would stick to your more, less common “dry areas”. I found my key areas of dark tan were around my armpits, cleavage, under boob and around my belly button. The tan really took to those annoying areas and then was the last bits to fully come off. Not a good look. It doesn't last very long. For the first day it looked perfect, after that I was getting ‘cracking' (picture attached), and not because my skin beforehand or during was dry or because I had exfoliated while having the tan on. It happened more noticeably after day 2/3 where I didn't look brown anymore, instead I almost looked like I had a million freckles with dark armpits, cleavage, under boob and belly button. I found switching to a tanned moisturizer helped but it didn't cover the cracks. On another test (starting from complete pale scratch), I found after day 2 if I applied another coat of tan then the cracking didn't start by day 3! However it was there by day 5...which did lead me to think the product was probably drying my skin out. This was unpractical for me for 2 reasons, I hate the feel of wet tan on my skin (no matter how quick it dries) and because usually with other makes I'd be good to go without a second coat until day 5 (still moisturising inbetween days). When you finally want to take it off it's a nightmare! You will be scrubbing and looking freckly for a good couple of days! I've never used a ‘tan remover', maybe this would help? But the old baby oil and exfoliating gloves couldn't get it off for a while! I think it's quite expensive to be failing quality by 2 and requires a lot of maintenance. If you've got a big event coming up and you don't care what it looks like after day 2 than yes, dries quick and it does make you nice and dark. However I feel for regular weekly use, you're looking at upping it to daily use, and unfortunately it's not the best tan to have with white bed sheets or clothes, so you'll have to wear a lot of old/ dark clothing too!
