To get started:
- Fill the built-in water tank with filtered distilled water (using provided bottle) and adjust heat to preferred setting.
- Use the straightener in the direction of the arrows.
- Use on dry hair.
For straightening hair:
- For best results, section hair and glide SteamPod down slowly to straighten. The thinner the section, the more precise the result.
- Take each section and slowly move the straightener downwards from root to tip, making sure the arrows on the tool are pointing down to achieve optimal results.
For creating waves:
- Pre-comb and section hair.
- For natural waves, place a small section in the middle of the plates and wrap it around the tool.
- Then rotate the tool while slowly gliding downwards, making sure the arrows on the tool are pointing down to achieve optimal results.
- Let the waves cool off for a few minutes before either shaking or brushing them for a very natural-looking result.

I have curly 3b/3c hair and I have the Redken version of this that came out years ago and it has been the only straightener I've had because of how good it is. I tried this out because I'm gonna have to retire mine soon and as much as I love the convenience of the water reservoir being in the flat iron as opposed to having a water tank, the flat iron is so thick you can't fully reach the root so its not completely flat and it pulls. I'm not sure if its a seasoned flat iron thing but I pulled so much hair and it wasn't as smooth. The results are not what they could be and its unfortunate because the technology is there and works especially for curly/kinky hair and I hope they come out with another version because the original is absolutely top tier and has set the standard for flat irons because of how good it works and how long its lasted me (10 years).

The best straighener I have ever used. Works better then Dyson Straighter. I will always use this for my fine, frizzy hair! Works well in my climate. Southwest Florida approved! No problem with humidity. Wow, wow and a huge shoutout to buy this for 2b/ 2c blonde colored hair! The winner of all time in my hair arsenal! Run don't walk!

Steam pod straightener
It used to take me an hour to straighten my wavy hair and I would dread it now it takes me like 15 minutes so i love it! People complain that its too heavy well they need to start lifting more things i guess because its not that heavy 😭😂 its worth it

I have type 4B/C hair and this tool was a literal silk press for my hair. The key is to use distilled water ONLY. It's a splurge…but save your coin! It's worth it!
