First off, the smell of the gloss is amazing sort of like cake but not too overbearing. But the downsides are that it is sort of like a stick of glue in that it's a bit sticky. First off, I LOVE the color amped, and it feels amazing on my lips. The color looks incredibly bright in the tube, but it looks soft once it's on. Here is why I give it only 3 stars: The mechanism that is supposed to raise and lower the lip balm does not work. The tube only makes a cranking noise but doesn't actually raise the product; hence, there is not much to love. Disappointed, MAC.

best lip gloss, amped is so pretty, its not sticky, it smells amazinggggg. doesn't hurt when you apply it, but still plumps your lips. its very smooth and it looks so good with a dark pink or brown lip liner :) i wish it wasn't so expensive but its really good

(Related to Solar Sparks and not the other plumping gloss sticks) This doesn't show up very glossy/high shine (which is why I labeled it a 4 out of 5, but I still love it.), so I personally layer another product on top. Gold usually makes my lips feel washed out, but this one doesn't. It lasts for a while, and when it fades a bit, it still looks pretty. The plump is subtle and not painful. I am on my way to get the squirt sparks.
