Fast and Smooth
Using a fast drying top coat is the only way I will paint my nails and Essie's Speed Setter top coat definitely is fast enough for me. Ruined my nail polish
I used the essie speed setter and it ruined my nail color. I now have cloudy tips. I will never buy this again. Waste of my time and now I have no time to fix them before a big event today.

This is my go-to top coat since a very long time. No matter the polish underneath it, it just makes it last for days and look brand new. I re-apply it throughout the week to extend that 'freshly done' look. Just love it! And also I'm not promoted to write this review, genuinely wanted to help those who are looking for a new top coat! :)

Almost all of the reviewers for this product received an incentive. I haven't, so I thought I'd post my own review. In a nutshell, this works. And it works better than Good to Go. Speed Setter dries to the touch in about two minutes and has a lasting shine. But you do actually have to let the base coat and color coats dry before painting this top coat on, which takes about 2-5 minutes for each coat depending on the heat and humidity where you live. I live somewhere both hot and humid, so it's five minutes per base/color coat for me. Then I paint on this top coat and wait 15 minutes for it to fully, FULLY "rock hard" cure because my lifestyle is the archenemy of nail polish. (Musical instruments, excessive typing, small children, hot water galore, using nails as tools, digging in the dirt, painting, sanitizer, bleach, you name it.) Then I'm ready to go. And it lasts for the next week. WEEK. Doing all of the above. Usually I show tip wear in hours. I swear, this top coat lasts longer than most of Kim Kardashian's marriages. Buy it, use it, thank it, love it, marry it, rewrite your will and leave everything to it in gratitude for the long-wearing shine it provides you. Because it will.

This top coat consistently delivers time and time again. 90% of the time I can go a minimum of a week wi the no chips. Then I clip my nails and get a whole second week of wear. I have never found a product like this on the market and will never use another.
dries fast but makes nails look streaky
love how fast it dries through the layers, but end up having to put a different top coat on top because it dries with streaks across the nail

This has made a huge difference in my home manicures. Here to stay is the BEST base coat for longevity that I've ever used. I can get 2 weeks out of a home manicure when I use this and the gel setter, which is longer than my salon manicures!
