- Q
Does this help with fungal acne?
- Asked by Meg
- Official Answer By Magic Molecule - Brand EngageYes, because HOCl has broad spectrum anti-fungal properties, it should be effective at managing fungal acne! The average acne-specific user sprays approximately 5-7 times per day though it can really range depending an individual’s daily activity. For example, if they play sports, are outdoors often, etc. Magic Molecule will combat the fungus that is causing zits and acne so we recommend spraying consistently to keep the area clean and stop it from repopulating. It’ll also help reduce irritation and subsequently heal faster! Was this answer helpful to you

This is long, but may help someone else!!
Okay, story time. I have had bad skin since I was a child. I have eczema, mild psoriasis, extremely dry skin, ultra sensitive skin, perioral dermatitis, I am acne-prone (blackheads, whiteheads, cysts, you name it). When I say I have dry skin, it cracks and peels in large sections. When I say I have ...

More table magic and less Hogwarts wizardry, at least for me
I want it to be magic. I really do. Maybe I just need to adjust my expectations? Maybe "magic" is an oversell? I have spots all around my hairline and the edges of my face that especially in winter, get pink, feel dry, and occasionally flaky. Eczema is the worst. I used Magic Molecule twice (or more...

Absolutely love!
I originally bought this spray as a solution for my stubborn-to-heal ear piercings, which it works pretty well for. Started spraying it on my face after washing it or being outside, and it does wonders for my very oily, sensitive, acne prone skin! It soothes any irritation extremely well, my skin gets red, inflamed and irritated easily after simply touching it a bit too hard. As soon as I use this spray, the redness and inflammation subsides! Adding this as a permanent edition to my skin care routine!!
Did absolutely nothing for my skin
I battle with acne and heard this stuff was miraculous. I got a small bottle, and I was using it twice a day. I waited until I had used the entire bottle before leaving a review because I wanted to give it time to work. But unfortunately I finished the bottle today and compared photos from when I started using it, and my acne is actually worse than ever right now. I haven't tried it on wounds but I'm sure it's nice to have as an antiseptic spray for that purpose. I wouldn't spend this much on a first aid spray though.
disappointing
I bought this as an alternative to the Tower 28 spray that made a hypochlorous sprays go viral in the first place. Although the ingredients are the same - it is NOT the same. This has an overwhelming stench of chlorine. Really disappointed.
BETTER THAN TOWER 28
Literally ran out of my tower 28 and was browsing around ulta for other things, when I was in line for checkout i saw it was a hypochlorus acid spray & decided to buy it. Literally can smell the hypochlorus acid which to me makes it seem like it actually works. So far its been good.
Spray is okay
This product really didn't do anything for my sensitive, rosacea skin. I didnt see any positive or negative effects from it. Just meh.
