Apply a generous amount (2-4 pumps) evenly as the last step of your AM skincare routine (before applying makeup and 30 minutes before sun exposure). Reapply every 2-3 hours to maintain protection. If you're planning on swimming or sweating, always use Solar Mate in combination with a water-resistant sunscreen.

This is definitely the best more affordable spf I've tried. Affordable spfs tend to be super thick greasy and don't wear great under makeup but this is by far the smoothest and nicest affordable spf I've tried so far. Bubble Solar Mate SPF
I wanted to love this SPF so much as its mineral with clean ingredients. Bought for myself and my daughter. I could not figure out why I kept getting a tan/brown nose when using for a daily SPF layer under makeup. Its the product!!!! It literally does nothing for SPF protection. I mean, I would get a tan/brown nose just being outside on yard duty and I do not burn easily. Finally after using it snowboarding yesterday on a partly cloudy, overcast day and STILL getting a brow nose (after not having used this product since last summer) I'm convinced its the product. No way there is SPF in it, especially SPF 40!!!! My Olay SPF 15 will protect me all day for normal daily use. Do NOT recommend at all.
smells rancid
the comments dont lie it has such a strong smell I cant get past it and im not someone with a super senstive nose. I will be attempting to return once I'm not snowed in. I love their other products so far but this smells AWFUL
